How can I geet rid of feeling tense?!
Question: How can I geet rid of feeling tense!?
I feel like I drank up 10 energy pills all the time!. I cant be sitting down at all!. I feel like punching things, and constantly hitting myself in the leg!. I always feel that way!. Is this a medical problem, please help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi, first!.!.!. please stop hitting your leg!. It just leads to charlie horses!. But to calm down, try to set aside a quiet place where you can be left alone!. No music, no tv, no computer!. Let it just be you and your thoughts!. Take slow deep breaths and concentrate on your breathing starting out at 10 minutes a day or more if you can do it!.
When you are hyper, try lying back with a warm compress on the back of your neck!. This will relieve tension and will make your head feel better!.
If none of the above works, try exercise to work off all the extra energy you have!. Take a walk, ride a bike!. Anything to get your mind off the fact you are excited and you will get a toned body to boot!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may want to consider whether you are doing anything that is contributing to your tension!. Are you drinking too much caffeine!? Are you taking uppers or other drugs that would cause you to be uptight!? Do you have unresolved anger at something that has happened to you!? My suggestion is that you see your doctor and tell her/him what is going on!. There certainly might be a medical cause that you should rule out before you look at your mental health!. You could have an anxiety disorder, but your statement that you "feel like punching things" makes me think that there's something else going on!. Rule out physical causes with your doctor's help, and then perhaps you can find a therapist - or maybe even your doctor can help you figure out what's going on!. Until you get to the doctor, you can try breathing deeply in and out of your nose (not your mouth)!. And stay away from caffeine and alcohol!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
