Does CBT really works??!


Question: Does CBT really works!?!?
well im a person whose mind is so messed up right now!. i mean i dunno where to start my prob!. ds tots are bothering me for a long time already and i wonder if cbt will work for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, CBT is fantastic!. It creates a logical and rational way of looking at your negative thoughts and how they are controlling your life!. Many situations are perceived irrationally by a depressive person, which then impacts on their thoughts and behaviours- prolonging the depression and making the patient feel rubbish about themselves!. It's all a vicious cycle of negative thoughts, behaviours and consequences!.

CBT targets negative thoughts, dismantles them so you can develop positive behaviours, and a consequent positive impact on your life- which in turn creates positive thoughts etc etcWww@Answer-Health@Com

Cognitive behavioral therapy does work in certain situations as with any intervention strategy it depends on the motivation of the client and the problem being treated!.

You need to discuss it with your therapist!.

CBT is used in many ways, your counselor is likely trained in dealing with problems in Cognitive fashion!. Often depending on the diagnoses, CBT may have the one pattern of improvement for many clients where other modes of treatment do not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
