How can i prevent serious depression this summer?!

Question: How can i prevent serious depression this summer!?
My exams will be over soon, so i will end up with a lot of free time on my hands!. the thing is, i will either be feeling better because i have the time to do whatever i like, or i will become seriously depressed because i am alone and have nothing to distract my thoughts!.
does anyone (particularly those with depression) have any(preferably tried, and successful) ideas of things i can do to keep my mind distracted!?

Explore your Spiritual connection!.
Take time to look, listen, smell and enjoy the many abundant wonders we take for granted, like the colors and fragrance of wild flowers, the sound of laughter as children play, the warmth of the sun or the rejuvenation a gentle rain!.
Learn meditation, take a Yoga class, look into a self help group, volunteer in your community!.

As you experience these wonders, remember your connection to what you experience!. Allow yourself to relax and enjoy life's simple pleasures and re-connect Faith in YOU as you ARE a part of the "ALL"!
