Question: I am taking prozac and everything is gone!?
I started taking this new medicine like 3 to 4 days ago, I was taking zoloft before, but it increased my negative thoughts and now all of a sudden I started taking prozac and my thoughts are kind of gone (just like a little whisper on the back of my head)!. I don't know if its because of the medicine or because after my 2 last crisis I all of a sudden want to fight it and I am starting to turn to God and everything!? Isn't it too soon to be noticing this change!? The doc said it starts working within a week not 4 daysWww@Answer-Health@Com

Within a week could mean 4 days for some people, so you could easily be feeling the new meds!. For a little while (couple weeks) you could feel a little different as your body gets used to the new meds so don't worry too much, also the Zoloft will still be missed for a while and that could cause some of the other side effects for a while!.
If its helping, thats great, don't question it too much!. It sounds like you were having bad thoughts (not quite voices in your head but spontaneous negative thoughts) and that they have mostly gone since you started on the prozac!. If so - thats great! Just be watchful of any of the symptoms it lists on the meds that are bad, and tell your doctor if you feel out of control or anything!. Also if you feel that turning to God will help you, go with it, but just remember you're feeling this since you started taking the Prozac and thats not the same as having some major religious experience - God doesn't usually work through psychoactive drugs, but the drugs do often make you think and feel differently for a while, just don't take it too seriously!.
Remember who you are, normally, before your problems showed up!. If you find yourself doing anything strange like thinking about joining a cult or ending it all or anything weird, ask yourself is that something that is coming from who you are, or is it something weird that might be due to the drugs and that might not be real!? Also get plenty of sleep till you get normalised and you're happy its working right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i am on prozac everyone said to give it a month in two days i was more settled than anything it has save mt life i tried all the other to be on an outrageous fits of rage ill never change i have been on it for 6 yrs for bpd bipolar and this is the only med and i am so stable ,i also will have a yr in for no drugs and alcohol ,i am glad you are doing good and i too have god in my life all things are possible through him amenWww@Answer-Health@Com
i've recently started taking prozac and noticed changes within the first few days!.!.!. i was told it takes four weeks for the meds to be completely in your system!.!.!. but i would notice a difference in less than a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Some people say that Prozac makes them feel sort of zombie like with their thoughts!. Talk to a psychiatrist, who may be more experienced then your average doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
