Question: Will pencil graphite impair your memory!?
I have a had a peice of pencil graphite - still visible through skin- in my finger for almost seven years!. I have been known for my poor memory and seems to be continuously getting worse!. Does the graphite have anything to do with my memory decline ( also I am fourteen) or can it still hurt me in any way!.

I am the same way!. So, try this little trick, get yourself a small notebook and pen, when someone tells you something you have to remember later, write it down in the notebook!. And at night when you are in bed before you go to sleep read what you wrote in the notebook that day!. In other words refresh your memory!. By doing this you will improve your memory!. Or you could try the word association approach, you choice a word to associate with that event and you will remember it easier!. Good luck!.

It is very unlikely that the graphite is the cause of memory decline(!?) but if it bothers you then it is a problem to you!.!.
any doctor can easily remove the graphite (since it is close to the surface!. I do not know about your memory but if people are telling you about poor memory you might start to believe them and act accordingly!. Do not let them influence you!.!.
