I would go and see a doctor and find out if you have ADD-inattentive!. It sure sounds like it to me!. I have the same thing; but didn't get diagnosed until I was 49! Gee - I am on a low dose of generic adderall and I am doing great!. I can complete tasks and I don't dread facing work anymore!.

Hello there,
Concentration is very sensitive to how you are feeling generally!. It also depends on what you are trying to concentrate on; whether it is something you would normally find interesting or something you just have to learn!. Anxiety or tiredness can affect it too!. From what you say, I wonder whether you are gettinig mood swings!. Depression can affect concentration badly, even before it affects your mood!. Mood swings can be a sign of an untreated mild depression!. If you have any doubts, have a word with the doctor!. It could be depression that is affecting your concentration!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only person who can really diagnose you or give you medication is a doctor, preferably a psychiatrist!.

That being said, there are plenty of things you can do to help your concentration!. First, you could try taking Omega 3 supplements!. These help boost brain function and may (or may not) help your concentration!. But they are vitamins available at any grocery store, and will definitely not hurt!.

Timers, scheduling breaks while you're working, creating a work area that is free from distraction, and physical exercise can all also help you concentrate when you have work to do!.
