How do I pull myself together?!

Question: How do I pull myself together!?
Ok well I quit work last night because our new manager was totally disrespectful and accused me of not doing my job properly and that I was lying: he broke me down to tears!. I used to love my job because it gave me a break from everything esle and I had the most awesome workmates!. So after 9 months of working there I was/still am pretty shocked!.

Also i'm having trouble coming out, I want to be who I am but also don't want to get rejected!. School is another factor, i'm in grade 12 and my siblings careers are: dietician, 2 doctors and a vetenarian, heh, what will my parents expect of me, i wonder!?

So here I am, at home, and I'm suppose to have a maths exam today, couldn't face it after what happened last night, I'd probably fail!. I've been seeing my counsellor for 4 weeks and I've been slowly improving but last night set me off and I'm not seeing her again till next friday!.

I've tried reach out, and websites like that but it doesn't help, what should I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It was brave of you to quit! You are working and going to school - you deserve to feel appreciated!. I think being upset about job loss shows maturity - most 12th graders do not care!
I cannot imagine what it is like to come out; however, you deserve to feel loved for who you are!. I bet you stand for a lot of good things: Ex: I bet you'd be the first to offer your hand if a total stranger fell down beside you!. You'll be the person who pulls over on the side of the road to help someone in distress!. People will learn to focus on the person you are and friends will support the life you choose!. You pick that chin up! There's a mom out here sending cyber hugs to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can try a crisis hotline!. Maybe it would be better to talk to someone over the phone than just over the internet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Practice one of the relaxation methods in sections 2, 11, 2c, or 2i, daily, at http://www!.ezy-build!.net!.nz/~shaneris

(The following is a variant of EMDR therapy, which has been used successfully for those people suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, insomnia, and anxiety: it is easily learned, quick to use, yet can be very effective!. It is easy to be dismissive of such a seemingly unusual technique, but give it a good tryout, for at least a few weeks, to see if it is effective in your case!.)!. Prior to using either of the methods in the above paragraph, first sit comfortably, and take a deep breath!. Then, without moving your head, move your eyes from the left, to the right, and back again, taking around a second to do so (say: "a thousand and one": this takes approximately a second)!. Repeat this procedure (without the words, although you can count, subvocally, if you like) 20 times!. Then close your eyes and relax!. Become aware of any tension or discomfort you feel!.

Then open your eyes, and take another deep breath, and repeat step one, closing your eyes, and relaxing afterwards, in the same manner!. Then, repeat the procedure one last time!. Some people may find that this is all they need do!. With experience, you may find that you can practise this in public, with your eyes closed, which greatly widens the window of opportunity for its use, and avoids attracting unwanted attention!. I have found that the 2 - 3 minutes spent using the EMDR markedly reduces distractions to the relaxation process, and is repaid many times over!. These will enable you to emotionally center yourself, and help you through the difficult parts of life!. Richard Branson left school at 16, and Winston Churchill was not a well-performed student!. Your future may well be in another field, such as: graphic artist, real estate, cinematography, Feng Shui consultant, landscaping, fashion design, aromatherapist, music industry, photographer, personal trainer/aerobics instructor, etc!. School is about teaching some basics, and keeping students occupied, so adults can work, that's all! Try many things (except drugs, binge drinking, and the more dangerous ones) and develop those areas in which you perform well, or have a natural aptitude!. Consider having vocational guidance tests, and career counselling, to give you some ideas on what may suit you best!. Ultimately, it is much more important that you be a good person, who helps others when reasonable to do so, and makes a fair contribution to the society which supports him/her, than scholastic achievements!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
