Question: My anxiety is taking over my life!!!!?
ive had anxiety for years!. been on tons of meds!. nothing helps!. i get anxious about rediculous things!. everytime i have something wrong with me!.!.!.headache, stomach ache etc i think im going to die!. i come up with rediculous thoughts like i have aids or cancer!. also i own a horse!.!.!.and i am constantly thinking about him alll day and night when im not at the barn with him!. is he ok!? is somebody hurting him!? is somebody riding him without my permission!? im going crazy and i cant relax! im afraid im going to have a heart attack from all the stress!. what can i do!? how can i CHILL OUT lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

The best way to overcome anxiety is to meditate!.The tactic is to remove all the noise from your mind!. I mean when your thoughts are agitated, so is your mind and body!. So you need to start from the subconscious level!.Sit in a quiet place,say in your backyard garden or in a church or temple(if you like) or even a closed room in your house will do!.Sit and breathe well,inhale and exhale deeply-that will have a profound effect!.You need to empty all your thoughts!.
You know, when we sit closing our eyes, immediately our mind starts buzzing!.We start thinking about so many things!.First calm all your thoughts!.For all this you need to believe that you have complete control over everything -your mind ,thoughts,body and soul!.Then very slowly ,take your thoughts away from everything and try to imagine yourself sitting in a peaceful place like in front of a beautiful waterfall or in front of pretty flower bushes or something like that!.Try to detach yourself from your daily thoughts and then your mind will starting floating to anywhere you take it!.In advanced stages you even forget that you are sitting in a room!.You will have complete control over your thoughts and you will feel blissful!.
Finally it is all about erasing the worry habit!.Whenever you realise that you are worrying about something,immediately try and change your thoughts to something pleasant!.This is how you control your thoughts and emotions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can only tell you what my therapist told me, "Who i am is what I say" if you say "I am anxious about having cancer", you are, also, that you are the possibility of all things "I am the possibility of calmness" " I am the possibility of trust" etc!. keep saying these phrases over and over to counteract any negative thought!. I hope you understand what I'm trying to tell you mostly that it is within your mind to create or negate these thoughts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It definitely sounds like you NEED to go see some sort of therapist!. It sounds like you have acute anxiety which needs to be treated!. It might really help for you to see a doctor, because they might give you a low dose of xanax to take when the anxiety gets unbearable!. Xanax is really helpful in these situations because it allows you to chill out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You apparently have been on the wrong medications! Ask your doctor about low dose seroquel!. I used to be just like you, I could not even sleep because all that stuff would run through my head!. My doc put me on Seroquel, and wow, what a difference! I have a quiet mind now, and don't worry nearly as much!. It can really help! I tried a ton of mediation before the seroquel too and none of them worked!. But wow, now I can't even imagine how I lived like that!
