I have a question about what to do about nightmares?!


Question: I have a question about what to do about nightmares!?
Ok, I am 13 and sence school stopped and summer started I thought it would be cool to stay up really late for a few days after the last day of school!. It was fun the first a second night but a little lonely cuz nothing good is ever on tv at 1 am!. so i turned of the tv and couldn't go to sleep so it was really quiet and a when you are just laying there all quiet and still and bord you get to thinking!. and thinking, When i finally fall asleep i sleep till moring but it feels really dredful like i just had a nightmare but i can't remember it!. It is terrible ( it goes away once my yunger sister want to play with me) but the next moring or at night i feel like im almost scared of going to sleep and im not usually a scared person!. Actually im never a scared person!. and i always remember my dreams!.
This is just terrible cuz it lasts for little bit in the morning and longer at night!.

It's freaking me out cuz i have never been this scared or may be its nurvousness i dont know

Try to make yourself really relaxed before you go to bed - have a shower, or a hot chocolate or listen to some relaxing music!. Keep comforting things around you (i know you are 13 but you must still have a favourite toy or something, i'm much older than 13 and I still have one!)!.
When you wake up, if you feel scared just remind yourself that it's not real and that you are in a safe house with all your things around you!.
Nightmares usually happen because you're worried about something so if there is anything on your mind the best thing to do is to talk to someone about it to get it off your chest and help find a solution!.

Yes, nightmares are horrible, and they occur more when you stay up late, don't get enough sleep, consume sugar or caffeine after 7pm!. They can also occur if there's a big deal or stressful situations going on in your life at the moment!. Write down all your dreams that you CAN remember, that should help, discussing issues that bother you usually helps!.

hi whit!.!. yup ev1 have those days of nightmares!.!. luckily u dun remember them else u will keep pondering over it!. In case u still hv gd memories abt it, there is a saying u hv to tell it to some1 else to prevent it from any happening of similar incidents mirrored into your real life !

Sounds like you were thinking to the point of over analysing everything!.

That, or you delveloped anxiety!.

Next time, go to bed a little earlier and listen to some soft music to keep your mind focused on better things!.

Nighmares are a reflection of a really bad phase that you passing in life right now!. When you dream you allow your brain to porcess information!. Nightmares may often mean you are stressed, but try having a hot bath and then drinking hot milk with honey next time!.!.!.!. it will calm you down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If u get up and get nightmares try to sleep with different subject and if it doesn't work try to sleep to the side, and another side if it doesn't work!.

Another one, try to fight the scary things!.

Try praying!.!.!.!.it always works for me!. It says in the Bible that God can give you a "peace that passes all understanding"!.!.!.like when you should be really scared and people around you can not understand why you are not!. do some exersize a little bit before bed, have a nice warm shower, put a fan on, and wear some really compfy pjs and climb into bed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
