Veterans, who have asked for and received help for PTSD, etc. Need help here!!!?!

Question: Veterans, who have asked for and received help for PTSD, etc!. Need help here!!!!?
My DH was a 20 vet, the first unit to go to Desert storm, then sheild!. The last to come home!. The man I knew was left there!. He rejects me and our children!. He let his parents die without even attempting to see them!. He has deserted our family completely!. He was once such a great, loving husband!. He abandoned me totally!. I had no home , money, nothing, but I still care!. I feel its the war!.
Soon after he came home I began to have dreams that one day two Army Officers came to my door and told me the man I had been living with was not the real person but my husband had died and this person assumed his role!. I suppose It was god's way, minds way, what ever, of warning me!. I have tried writing him, emails, cards, and he want respond!. Our daughter saw him last Sunday, and said he looked so sick, had lost weight and aged 20 years!. I am at a loss!. Any advice will be helpful!. I am so afraid I will get a call saying he has committed suicide!. God help me I don't know what to do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I understand your situation completely!. First, my ex-husband was in the Navy and when he came home from his last deployment, he was not the same man!. He totally changed and as you can see it finally resulted in divorce!. He was angry at the world and very depressed!. Also, my son spent a year in Iraq!. He came home with PTSD, got hooked on meth, trouble with the law, and his marriage and family!. Everyone tried to help him, but he wouldn't let us!. Fortunately, the birth of a new daughter brought him around!. But, unless your husband wants help there unfortunately is nothing you can do!. It sounds like he might be doing drugs, and it will attribute to irrational decisions and further depression for him!. All that you can do is go on with your life since he won't let you be a part of his or let you help him!. Be prepared for anything as best as you can!. Maybe, and hopefully the day will come that he will need and accept your help!. Take care of yourself and your children!. In his heart that is what he really wants you to do!. If you have faith in God, say lots of prayers for your husband!. Good luck to you and your family and I will be saying prayers asking God to be with you and watch over you and your family!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
