How do people with anorexia feel about fat people?!

Question: How do people with anorexia feel about fat people!?
I used to be friends with a girl who's recently come out of a year in hospital for anorexia!. We all used to hang out but I haven't seen her in about 5 years - in which time I've put on about 7 stone!.

I know it's superficial and probably really shallow of me to even say this, but this girl wants to meet up again and I really want to - but she doesn't know how big I am and I'm not sure how she'd feel about it!.

Would it trigger her!? What if she looks at me and thinks "I never want to be as fat as her", and relapses!?

I KNOW anorexia is no where near as simple as that and by no means am I trying to be patronising!. I'm just so self conscious and I worry a lot of the time!.!. But I really want to be friends with her again and I'm not sure how she'd see me considering I'm probably around 3 times her weight :/

Please don't fat bash here!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i've suffered with anorexia in the past, and im going to try to base my answer off of how i felt in that time two years ago!. i have a couple of overweight friends, and upon becoming anorexic, my opinions of them hadn't changed!. the only difference was that i had paid more attention to not only my weight, but everyone around me!. this was because all i ever thought about was food and weight, it wasnt in anyway involved with judging them!. so there's a good chance that she'll notice your weight gain, but it shouldnt in anyway change what she thinks of you as a person!.

"Fat bash" Tehe!. Never heard that one before!.
Anyway, if she has any problem with you, you probably should not become friends again with her anyway!.
Don't stress if she acts rude or freaks out!. Quite frankly, it's her issue, not your's!. Until she can be accepting of people even if they may be healthy while she is not!. She doesn't deserve any good friends!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think anorexia means that you care about your own weight and dont really care that much about others i mean she might think your bigger but i dont think itll really matter that muchWww@Answer-Health@Com

She's probably much too wrapped up in her own self-image problems to care about how much you weigh!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i feel about it this way!.!.!.!.anyone with anorexia has more problems than i do, myself being the "fat" person!.!.!.!.!.she needs more help than i do!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if anything you might make her feel better about herself because you are bigger then her!.!.!.if she does judge you then you don't want to be her friend!. i say!.!.!."GO CURVES!!!"Www@Answer-Health@Com
