I have this exact phobia! You are not weird!. Roaches were one of the reasons I moved to Oregon from Texas as they DO fly there!. I also had the same experience with a roach "motel" with a giant roach crawling around my bathroom with the "motel" stuck to its head!.They are disgusting and vile!. Cockroaches are creepy - haven't they been around since the time of dinosaurs!? And they NEVER die! I think it's normal to fear them and to have a phobia!. I fear them as well but no I don't have the same symptons, but everyone's body expresses stress or fear or whatever differently so I wouldn't worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I don't have the same sympton!. I don't know how you can be scared of them!. Is it because you believe they are dirty and carry diseases!?
They are amazing insects, I even hear they can survive an atomic bomb!. Another myth, is that they can survive when you put them in the microwave!. Give that one a go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm DEAD terrified of vending machines!. I'm scared of them falling or if someones arms gets stuck in it!. I have never been near one!. My friend once tried to carry me over to one and I passed out because I was so scared!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are not wierd!. You have a phobia as most people do!. I hate roaches and don't want them on me but that's it!. Everybody is afraid of something!. For example, my wife had a standoff with the Pizza delivery guy one night because of a frog and a spider!. My wife is scared of frogs and the Pizza guy was afraid of spiders and when he came with the pizza a frog was at our front door!. My wife wouldn't reach out for the pizza and he wouldn't come close to our front door because of the spider that had made a web at our front door!. Funny huh!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
