Question: What would happen if you took prozac and seroquel together!?
and what would happen if someone with bipolar disorder took prozac and someone with depression took seroquel!? just wondering!. thanks!!! (three questions in one!.!.!.SORRY!)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Prozac and seroquel are not contraindicated (you can take them concurrently without ill effect)!.

If someone with bipolar disorder took prozac consistently, it is possible that it would trigger a manic episode!. This is not the case for every patient, but it can happen (with ANY SSRI)!.

Seroquel is often prescribed for depression which is severe enough to include psychotic features!.

I would think nothing!.!.!.!.

most people with bipolar are also on antidepressants to help with the low mood swings!.

and many depressed poeple are on seroquel (an antipsychotic) because they are also psychotic!.

It doesn't matter who takes them!.!.!.it only matters that they are taking them to help "fix" something!.

I hope I helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some Bipolars take Prozac, but there is always a risk of inducing mania!. Prozac and Seroquel together would probably be ok if prescribed by a doctor!. Not sure about depressives taking Seroquel!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
