Am I developing some kind of eating disorder?!

Question: Am I developing some kind of eating disorder!?
I've lost 86 pounds to date, and I've lost 55 of that consistently during the past eight months!. I've come to a point of exhaustion and I haven't lost more than a pound in three months and I'm getting upset and bitter, I'm still 15 pounds from my ideal weight according to my BMI so no I am not even at healthy weight yet, but I seem to at times exercise to the point of fainting, and I take pills to push my limits and then the next day I'll be so hungry and tired that I'll eat a thousand more calories to find comfort then I'll go to the bathroom and try and throw it all up!. I've been having this routine for the past two months but I'll throw up something I ate at least once a month!. I'm afraid of gaining weight but I'm more irritated at the idea that I have to workout harder and eat less to weigh what I did a week before!. Basically, I just don't want to make up for the pounds I had already lost and get upset for gaining a pound or two so I'll do something stupid!. What do you think!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
First off, congratulations on the weight that you have lost!. When you loose weight, you will come to a plateau phase!. Sounds like you are in that right now!. You just have to keep doing what was working before and work threw it!. My question is did you loose the first 86 lbs by making yourself vomit!? That is a serious problem!! If not, than stop doing it right now before it becomes an every day occurance!. You can rupture your esophagus, ruin your teeth, and eventualy make it to where your stomach can no longer hold food, then the inevidable will happen!. Diet and exercise it the way to go!. Poping pills, and making yourself vomit is only going to bring on tougher issues you will have to face!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you're fishing, but I'll answer, yes you have Ed-nos but you already know that, perhaps because you were so overweight it is likely that you always had an eating disorder!. Eating disorders have the highest fatality rates of any mental diseases, so please get help unless you actually want to die over a few pounds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think what you are doing is extremely unhealthy!. You should consult your doctor because taking such drastic measures to get to an "ideal weight" really is not worth it!.!. it can take years off of your life if you do it wrong!. Find a nutritionist or trainer!? But definitely talk to your doctor to find a healthier way of losing weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think you need to look at yourself in the mirror & tell yourself you're beautiful!. you're way too self-concious!.

tip: if you show confidence in yourself ; everyone will show confidence for you!. now if you hang you head low and walk around saying "im so fat, omg look at my love handles" then that's what people will see!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

quit it before it gets too far!.
get a dietician!. thats my main suggestion for you!. it would make things go way better

I almost died and I'm still paying for it every single day

take control before it gets too farWww@Answer-Health@Com

yep- the official definition of bulimia is this:
http://www!.eating!.ucdavis!.edu/eatdis/bul!.!.!.
you seem to fit all of the criteria!. also, some of the reason why you're not losing weight any more is b/c when people are bulimic or anorexic, their bodies go into 'survival mode' and all the nutrients that your body can retain after purging turns to fat stores to keep your body alive through the next starvation period!. there are other health risks as well!. as long as you realize that this isn't healthy, you've made the first step to recovering a healthy mindset on weight loss- and the first step toward understanding healthy weight loss!. good luck, and remember- you're beautiful no matter what your weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, any kind of obsessive behavior or habbits to lose weight suggests an eating dissorder!. Please, stop!. I know how much those 15lbs mean and that they are in your head so much that you are willing to do anything to get rid of them, but it isn't worth risking your health and quality of life for!.

I am speaking as someone who became a bulimic at the age of eight, and it took me five years to even consider quitting!.

Those pounds might come off, they might not!. Either way, you have to decide that your self-worth and happiness and life are not dependant upon 15 measly pounds!. You are worth more than that!.

Please stop before things get worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well as a former bulimic myself!. i can say you do not have bulimia, but you do have EDNOS eating disorder not other wise specified!. there are some good websites about it!. you have some signs of bulimia but do not throw up 3 times a week for the last 3 months which is the criteria for bulimia!. what you are doing is really damaging!. you are not going to take off weight this way and to be totaly honest if you do you will gain it back and then some!. trust me i know!. the only weight that you can keep off easily is the weight you have lost the right way!. try looking into weight watchers!. it is a really good program!. but do not starve yourself or throw up because your body will only store fat!. I know this is probably a bunch of bla bla bla and you don't want to hear it!.!.!.i know i never did!.!.!.but if you really want to stop what you are doing you need to do it the right way! good luck!. celebrate your success!!! 85 pounds is freaking amazing girl!!! i wish i could lose that!.!.!.i need to lose like 100 pounds!.!.!.and i am serious!.!.!.your way ahead of me!. congrats!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
