How do I get over the fear of being in somebody elses house and being home alone while babysitting!? Also, what about when there is just a storm and I am babysitting at night alone!? Please help!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to have that problem!. You need to find ways to distract yourself from the storm and the fact that it's night!. As for being in somebody elses house, you'll eventually get used to it!. It just takes time!.!.!. and if your scared of somebody breaking in just make sure all the doors are locked (: chances are you're going to be okay!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask the people you're sitting for if they can call you at their home every half hour or every hour or so!. With everyone having cells phones today it's so convient and I bet they will be pleasantly surprized to get such a request from you!. Just explain your discomfort being alone in a strange house and it'll be a good thing all around and eventually you will become comfortable in your situation!. Alternatively, ask your mom/dad to give you a quick call a few times a night!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all bring music like an Ipod that can help!. If they have a dog sleep with the dog!. Another thing you can do is ask the family if you can bring a friend with, and keep emerg!. numbers on you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stop yourself from ever watching any suspense/slasher/horror/scary movies from now on!

I use to be the same way!. I would distract myself with a good movie or book!. Carry a pepper spray with you!. Just make sure the kids can't get it!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
