How can I learn to control my temper?And not go mad!?!


Question: How can I learn to control my temper!?And not go mad!!?
I have a horrendous temper, the slightest thing sets me off, and I can be a total moody cow for hours after!. I scream,swear,sulk and cry!. Its not me being a brat, im an independant 20 year old woman!. I just get so stressed that I cant handle it and I lash out!?
And ideas how to learn to control this!? Not just the anger, but also the constant crying attacks!?!?
Its making me and other people close to me miserable when it happens, and im sick of feeling like the incredible hulk! Help!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try to learn patience!.
recognize the signs that your about to "go off" (like heart racing) and the things that cause it (like someone not doing what you say) and not allow yourself to blow up!. Then later when your calm talk about it with someone!. You've got to kinda retrain your brain!. Remember, only YOU are responsible for YOU!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a terrible temper years ago & I read a book called "when anger hurts" I really didn't read the whole book but I got this thing out of it where you imagine you are above the situation on the ceiling looking down at what is going on!. It helps you separate from what is happening!. This really helped me learn to control my anger!. You might also have hypoglycemia!. Which is the same as low blood sugar so little healthy snackes will help you with this!. Really look into this cause I eventually started eating & found out it helped me not get angry but I went over board & ended up with diabetes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have Borderline Personality Disorder, so anger is a major part of my life, and I've had to learn how to deal with it, as it can get very dangerous with me!. I've learned that anger isn't spontaneous, but it builds up, and there are warning signs!. Since depression is "anger turned in", you have to be very careful!. You still need to express this anger, but have to find a more positive way to do so!. Some people find that physical exercise like sports, working out, or even wild sex are a great release!. I also found that writing lyrics is great therapy!. nice movie plug lol!. you need to learn to talk everyone gets mad its part of life but getting mad and snapping is not the right way to deal with it!. learn to chill out and tell people when they are making you mad, and then talk it out or just drop the subject and move on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
