I'm really confused... I don't know what to do... somebody help me!!!?!

Question: I'm really confused!.!.!. I don't know what to do!.!.!. somebody help me!!!!?
A few months ago, I was depressed, having flashbacks of sexual abuse, sexual assult, and school shootings!. I cut but it didn't seem to help the pain this time, so I was going to attempt suicide!. I e-mailed a teacher, the idea behind it being that she might be one to give me hope and comfort!. She did, and arranged for me to see a psychiatrist through the Health System here in the province of Qc!. The hospital, and psychiatrists I met with, basically told me, that they do not have help to offer me and my situation!. I've been keeping my teacher informed of the happenings at the hospital, and she has suggested perhaps contacting a family friend who is in the same profession, if I don't receive any calls from the hospital, but is that too much to ask of her!? I'm really doubtful that the hospital will call back, and I would really like to take her up on this offer, but is that crossing the student-teacher line!? (she knows about my entire past already) and if it is okay, how do I ask her!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
the pain your in deserves all the help in the world, ask her straight out thats all you need to do(that teacher deserves a medal)!. good luck youve been unlucky so far buy you can make it better!. ever want to talk you can email me via my profileWww@Answer-Health@Com

You should take the help that is offered to you, it's certainly better than the alternative!. I've honestly never understood "cutting" helping anyone and I myself was sexually abused as a child!. You definitely need to "let out the pain", but cutting or killing yourself is not the answer!. Let someone help you, even if it is a teacher, I do not think it's crossing the line!. Good luck to you!. God bless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off, don't kill yourself!. (I know that line is cheesy, but just don't!.) People love you, and would be devastated if you died!. To answer your question, YES!. Do talk to your teacher about it, and its definitely okay!. I go to tharipy as well, its no big deal!. You are loved, cared about, and blessed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it would be ok if you really need it, maybe write a thank you card after, and about the student teacher line thing, if you have a really great teacher that you can talk there isn't even a really a defined line!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

your teacher is doing the right thing!.!.holding out her hand to you please take it!.!.!.!.take anything she can offer you!.!.its appauling the hospital cannot offer you the help you so badly need!.!.!.!.but please take your teachers help!.!.!.I shall keep you in my prayers!.!.!.good luck and God BlessWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well if shes helping you then let her help!. I wouldn't have really came to a teacher for that kind of help in the first place though!. But now that she knows shes going to want to help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

absolutely,do anything and everything that would help ease your pain, dont shy away from seeking helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hi! My past was much like yours and I was a mess! There are so many people out here having the same problems!. I had to learn to fight for my life!. I had to believe I was worth something and had to start a smart plan!. I cried to Jesus until I felt his contact!. Then, I read books on depression, the Bible and reached out to anyone who would listen!. Sweetie, fight for your life! You are so needed in this world of numbness! We all need you! Stay good and kind and as you grow older you will be able to help others!. That is what I do now!. Helping others with depression and illnesses is my life!. God needs you to be his hands in this world!. I am on prozac and xanax to help me out!. If you ever go on meds, don't take effexor ER because 3 of my friends that took it felt they had to cut more often!. Hold on because things WILL get better! I will pray for you sweet sis!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are doing the right thing about talking to you teacher!. Do not think that your are crossing the student-teacher line because she sounds like a very caring person!. Read a good biography book about great persons that felt like you and came through, one of them is "Run Baby Run"!. It was about this boy that had nothing to live for in life and he found Jesus and now he is very happy and lives for Jesus!. Read it you will like it, is written by Nicky Cruz!. God will help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
