Question: Can anyone explain these hallucinations!?
I was 8 years old, it was the middle of the night, and my dad is talking to me!. Out of nowhere, I see these colored little dots flying across the air and gliding on the ceiling and hear this crazy evil laughter!.
I turn on the lights, and see that I'm surrounded by grotesque faces floating around, and lots of colored and white little dots surrounding me and dancing!.
This goes on till the morning, and the hallucinations of dots and voices go on for days!.

Seeing as you were 8 years old and taking Benadryl, it may be possible you had experienced an overdose, as Benadryl in extreme amounts have known to cause extreme hallucinations which have been reported to be very unpleasant!.
You say there was no history of drug use, so I assume you mean illegal substances!. If you were on another over the counter (OTC) medication, or prescription medication, It is also possible you experienced a drug interaction!.
Now, if this was not the case, you may be looking at several other causes, including an unknown medical condition!. You may want to seek an appointment with a health care profession, starting with a family medical provider!. They may refer you to other professionals if there is a reason to suspect other conditions, such as an underlying mental condition!.
You may also want to seek religious console, depending on your beliefs and personal preference!. I would personally recommend it!.

Some medication side effects include drowsiness, bad dreams or hallucinations!. Side effects are individual depending on one's body chemistry and level of tolerance!.
Some people may develop the opposite effect of what medication is intended for!. Benadryl is famous for that!. Instead of sleeping, my son would turn into a bouncing bunny after administration!.

It was for sure the benadryl!. If you take a lot of benadryl it makes you hallucinate!. Some people do it on purpose recreatonally but you don't hear about it that much because the hallucinations are almost always bad so its not a very popular thing to do!. But I know this because one of my friends has done it a few times and he had some really crazy hallucinations he told me about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Since you refer to when you were 8 years old, I assume that was quite a long time ago!. I also assume that nothing like that has happened since, otherwise you would have mentioned it!. Hallucinations can be caused by many things, including sickness, dehydration, and medicine reactions!. There were many logical reasons this could have happened!. The key thing of course, it that it has not happened again!. If it does, start by seeking medical help!. If that does not reveal anything, see a psychiatrist!. Also talk to a pastor for guidance!. wow, i dont know how to help you but when i was around 8 i saw those same glob-y colored things when i was trying to sleep too and my mom was trying to talk to me to help me sleep and i've always wondered why that happend too!.

you need to see a doctor now!.it seems like a serious matter!.and if you belive in religious go to church or temple to pray!.mostly it comes from your imagination but if you pray to god at least you'll feel a bit safer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would guess that you were dreaming!. Looking back at things from my youth there are things that i remember that never actually happened!. At that age you are too young to seperate reality from fantasy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
