What happens next..? 10 points best answer!!?!

Question: What happens next!.!.!? 10 points best answer!!!?
Sorry, i asked this Q earlier on but would appretiate a few more suggestions!. Not that the others wern't good-they were great!! I just need to calm my nerves a bit!.!.!.

I'm just wondering what would happen during my next doctors appointment (and if anything needs to happen after)!. I went last week because i regularly cut myself and i just seem to nearly always be down, angry, tired and generally i just feel crap all the time!.
Last week she gave me a questoinnaire and a website to look at!. She told me to book another appointment in two weeks(in a few days now) and i'm really worried about it!. I think if i know generally what she might say i might feel a bit better about it!. I know noone can actually tell me exactly what will happen but just an idea would be really helpful!.!.!.

She said she was going to talk to the community phychiactic nurse!.!.!.

Will she just ask me loads of Qs again!?
If she wants me to talk to someone how long will that take!?

I'm so scared :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, she may be asking questions again as it's important your doctor know "where you're coming from" and get to know you better if she's to be of help to you!. You didn't say which website she suggested you visit but the link I've attached is a Big Bowl of information on many subjects relating to teen mental and physical health !.!.!. you'll find info' about cutting from this page!.
You should be congratulated for realizing this is not a healthy thing to be doing and for stepping out to make an appointment to see your doctor!. There is, absolutely, nothing to be nervous about - the most important thing you can do for yourself is to be as open and honest as possible!. No-one can, really, tell you what happens next as things progress differently with individual doctors - treatment options vary, from patient to patient - what's right for one may not be suitable for another!. Your doctor may prescribe medication for you and will, most likely, refer you to a psychiatrist!. A doctor of psychiatric medicine has had many years of training before being qualified in this area of medicine - about 11 to 12 years before being able to treat patients!. Please remember that someone becomes a doctor because they are a Helper Type of person otherwise they, certainly, wouldn't commmit to all these years of study after high school, would they!?
I realize everyone wishes to have some areas they don't want to talk about - this is a personal privacy issue for all of us but the only way to find the underlying cause for what you're doing is having information dug up from where it's being hidden in your subconscious!. If you "open up", you'll discover your psychiatrist can be both your doctor and your friend - this will happen when you become able to trust your doctor with your personal privacy issues!. I hope all goes well with you - it sounds as if you're on the right track !.!.!. be patient with yourself and learn as much as you can about your disorder as this will help with your healing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cutting is not natural!. and you yourself admit you feel like crap!.

She is trying to determine if your depression is a mental aberration or a chemical imbalance!.

She is hoping for the chemical imbalance, as there are medicines that can lift you!.

mental is tougher, as you will have to relearn how to handle yourselfWww@Answer-Health@Com

Dont be scaried my friend went through the same thing she was a regular cutter!. Most of the questions normally dont have anything to do with what she is going to say to you!. Trust me she wont say anything mean or bad!. I am so proud that you got help and realized that you had a problem!. Admiting the problem is the scariest part trust me!. I know I am not much help but dont be worried!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its a good idea to talk to someone
to help you dealwith why you are cutting
to recognize it is not good
and that there are better ways to deal with your problems
healthier ways
don't rush into taking medicines, they may make you worse
read about them first
also there are natural antidepressants
good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

There will be lots of questions!. I don't know what else to say, since I don't know your individual situation!.!.!.but feel free to email me, I'm unfortunately "experienced" with therapy, self harm, and the general mental health practice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She will evaluate your questionnaire or give it to someone who can!. She is probably going to send you to someone who can better help you with whatever meds you are on!. She hopefully will listen as you tell her what is going on with you at this time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no reason to be scared, you must put some trust in your DR, you may need some anti depressants, or perhaps some counseling, whatever it takes, see it through, you will be better off for it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they will ask you a bunch of questions and possibly send you to a mental hospital they did it to meWww@Answer-Health@Com

Dont be scared!. You are doing the right thing by seeking help, you will get over it with the right help!. You can tell your doctor that you are nervous!. And if she wants you to talk to someone its to help you, not make you umcomfortable, so im sure it wont take long!. Talk about the possibility of therapy or pshycotherapy!. I think that will help you!. Meanwhile, if you have doubts, here is a hotline that specialize in this issue and that you can call about your worries!. They recieve tons of calls a day so dont be worried to go for it, you can give a fake name if u want:

SAFE (Self-Abuse Finally Ends)
gives referrals to local programs dealing with self-abuse and self-mutilation, and information on treatment options!.
phone: 800-DON'T-CUT (800-366-8288)

this webpage http://crystal!.palace!.net/~llama/psych/i!.!.!.
gives plenty of info as well

Also, when you go to your doctors, dont be afraid to talk it out and take your time!. Everyone appreciates its tough for you to be there!. And as someone said, reaching out is the usually hardest partWww@Answer-Health@Com

First of all I'd like to say I find it interesting that you are a Top Contributor of answer other peoples issues!. I see that as a good way not to Fully deal with you!.!.!.
Are you currently on medication for all that you are feeling or just in the counseling!? I would if I was the counselor look at the questioner, gleen the information I was looking for then ask you what you learned from the information I asked you to read!.
The fact that she wants you to see a psychiatric nurse I would guess if your not on meds she's considering that!.
Why are you scared!? Talking to someone will only make you better!. But some people don't want to get better!. They enjoy the attention!. Do you do anything other than answer other peoples problems on the computer!? Focusing on others is a great way to avoid your issues!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't be scared! Congrats on reaching out and getting the help you need!. If she hasn't already, your doctor will probably give the names of some local therapists or psychologists you can talk to!. (Primary care physicians don't specialize in mental health so they usually refer you to someone who can better help you)!.

She may also ask you more questions to decide whether you're suffering from depression or an anxiety disorder, if she hasn't already!. She may even suggest taking an anti-depressant (probably one in the SSRI group like Prozac, Zoloft, Celexa etc!.!.!.)!.

If she does want you to talk to someone else, you'll probably have to call and make an appointment with that person!. Depending on how busy they are, it might take from a couple days to a over a week to see them!. If she doesn't refer you to a therapist, ask her to! It's important you're seeing a mental health professional to help you!.

Take a deep breath, and don't be scared!. There's nothing to worry about!. The hardest part (reaching out to someone) is over!. Good job and good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
