Supported housing... what's it like?!
Question: Supported housing!.!.!. what's it like!?
Hi there,
I'm 16, live in the UK and being chucked out of home by my abusive parents!. Went to the Connexions office and they helped me apply for supported housing!.
The place is called Bramha house and it has 10 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a communal kitchen, dining room and lounge!. They said I won't stay long as it's an assesment place!.
!.!.!. I know people who have told me horrible stories about this place!.!. like a girl who was self-harming and wiping her blood all over the corridors!. Another girl having the lock broken off her door and getting raped! People getting beaten up, getting their stuff stolen, !.e!.t!.c!.
Has anyone lived in supported housing before!?
What is it like!?
I'm really scared!.!. I have anxiety with OCD and Bipolar Disorder so it really would be awful to have someone wipe blood on the walls or something, I'm not even sure I can cope with a communal kitchen because of my OCD!. I'll have to re-wash everything!.!.!.
