Manic depressive schizo-affective disorder?!

Question: Manic depressive schizo-affective disorder!?
OK ive been depressed for years and used to have anxiety (its gone now) and two years ago i started to act really wierd, like because somebody on TV had alzheimers i thought i had it! BUT!.!.!.!. in september 2007 i got sectioned then diagnosed with psychosis (an episode) but when i was discharged the depression returned, i tried medication, talking, relaxation techniques and nothing worked so i started smoking week!. I got discharged in march (from december) and started smoking weed straight after the discharge!. and in may i went utterly mad again, but this time it was 1000x worse than the previous episode! the first episode was just: funny smells, delusions, violent behaivour, the occasional auditory hallucination, but the last episode i had i was:

-hearing things, seeing things, smelling things, feeling things and tasting things that were not there!

my doctor said its too early to diagnose me because im so young (17) but can somebody tell me what it sounds like!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Schizo-affective
You need to be on some anti-psychotics!. Each psychotic episode will get worse without medication
Suggest changing docs!. Bipolar is now being dx very young (preschool)!. It sounds like your doc is back in the 1990's b/c many teens are dx with schizoaffective!. Maybe where you live is behind the times idk!? There is a 13 yr old male on here dx schizoaffective!. He asks a lot of questionsWww@Answer-Health@Com

You said you were diagnosed as having psychosis in the past!. that's exactly what it sounds like, I don't understand why your doctor said you're too young to diagnoseWww@Answer-Health@Com
