I am also like you!.!.!.!.I don't play sports!. I'm more of an artistic person!. If you like working with kids, there are so many areas you can go into!. You can help kids with autism, ADHD, be a "big sister", help kids with homework (if you say your grades are good, that could be a perfect way of helping other kids ; )!.!.!.)!.

Go to your community center in your area and ask if they need help in anyways with activities for kids !.They can maybe even tell you where the demand is high ( for working with kids)You can also, for now, work in summer camps for kids!.!.!.!.Or become a life-guard, for public swimming pools, etc!.

If it helps in any way, don't worry so much! I too did not know what I wanted to do later on in life , when I was 15!. But it's a good start to look into it now!.!.!.!.Does your school offer guidance couselors!? I'm sure if you search a bit more, you'll find answers in your surroundings! There might also be someone in your surroundings that could inspire you (like a parent or a teacher, etc) and be you "mentor"!.

And don't be so hard on yourself!! Changing school and friends is a big "thing" to deal with and to accept (phisicaly and emotionnaly it is a big chage therefore a big stress)!.!.!.but eventually you 'll have new friends and you will adjsut!.:D I'm happy to see you like school!.!.!.learning is gratifying and !.!.!.teaching to!.!.!.maybe you would like to teach later on!.!.!.!.

Basically, you have lots of options in front of you and you have a couple of years to figure this all out so don't pressure yourself to much!.!.!.!.!.nobody is perfect ; ) But keep a positive attitude!! : D

Hope I helped a bit!.!.!.!. : )Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could volunteer at a local library (most have reading programs for kids)!. You could also volunteer at a local hospital or nursing home (I know it's not kids but it's still rewarding)!.

Summer day camps may also have volunteer openings for being a CIT (counselor in training)!. You work with a head counselor with a group of kids all summer doing fun activities! I did this in high school and LOVED it!. You even meet others your age and since it's a different environment than school you might meet some potential new friends!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

art/photography club or work at a summer day camp for kids maybe!?!? or i dont know if you have it at your school but ours has a day care in the school and they have a class called child development where you learn about kids and play with the kids at school!.!.maybe that could help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Volunteer and the boys & girls club of America or become a "big sister"!. There are also elementary schools that need after school tutors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

check the newspaper theres usually ads to volunteer, try different things , and try meeting peopleWww@Answer-Health@Com

If you love kids so much, do what I did for 6 1/2 years: Volunteer at a daycare center! I loved it, but I wanted to be hired on there and after 6 years I realized that when they could get my work for free, there was no reason for them to hire me, so i left!. I did love it though!. If your town has a community child care center, like mine does, ask about volunteering!. As for sports, I know what you mean, the only sports I was any good at were softball and scoccer, and I only got to play softball for a little bit in 7th grade, before a nasty knee injury!. I might get to play again in college though! If you like animals, volunteer at your local pound/animal shelter!. I did for a little while!. It can be heartbreaking at times, but its so fun too, walking the dogs and petting the cats and feeding and watering them and everything!. I even learned how to give a shot!. That was pretty neat!.

Good luck!

I'm not sure what sorts of clubs they have at your school, but try to find one that requires community service!. I was NHS vice-president and planned many of the community service projects we did!. (Had Special Olympics @ our school, tutoring, etc!.!.!.)!. You'll find more volunteering opportunities as a member of a group, so keep that in mind!.

In the community, there's usually plenty of things you can help out with!. Animal shelters, nursing homes, and community centers all look for people to help out!. I'm not sure what's in your specific community, but maybe there's an after-school program for younger kids you could help out with!?

Just see what's available to you!. Decide which school club/activity you'd be most interested in!. Look for volunteer opportunities in the community!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Kids in the hospitals (cancer, lekemia etc etc) always need a smiling face and hugs!.!.and even the elderly!. Try a Childrens home for abused and neglected!. Preschools!.!.volunter!.
There are so many people and kids who have no one to talk to and haven't been hugged i n years!.
Physical human touch is so important!. If you have a cool calm dog !.!.some hospitals and convelesant homes like visits!. There are dog programs for this!.

You will find joy in helping others!. Happiness You know comes from within you!. Only you can make you happy!.
Maybe its not that your unhappy its you just need to be needed and to give of yourself to others to fulfil that void!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
