Question: Stress is causing me to loose sleep!. What can I do!?

1!.Listen to calming music while doing daily routines
2!.go to a spa for an entire day
3!.take a shower and imagine your troubles are being washed away (takes practice)
4!.I always feel awkward and perverted saying this one!.!.
you could relieve stress by yourself under the covers!.
I know how it sounds but it does work, look it up!.
5!. demand a massage from a friend or family!. Keep doing this from diffrent people until you find someone with magic fingers
6!.stop doing unnecessary stressfull things (no brainer)

I have personal experience with sleeplessness due to stress - used to take otc sleeping pills!. Nowadays, I try to reduce stimuli at least an hour before bedtime - no TV, no computer, no texting, no phone calls, no stress!. Take a warm bath or long shower right before bed, listen to relaxing music, turn the lights down low so your body will know it is time to wind down, meditate and practice deep slow breaths from the diaphragm!. Some light snacks will promote sleep such as bananas and other carbohydrates!. There are also some teas that help with sleep such as Bedtime tea by Yogi!. Get exercise during the day to help you with stress and to sleep better!. There are plenty of things to reduce stress and get a better nights sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

write down everything that is stressing you out and try to focus on getting rid of the stress onto the paper!. tell yourself in the morning you'll read over it and deals with the issues that you can take care of!. otherwise write it down to forget about it!. then try some lavender oil on your pillow and sleepy time tea!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had this same problem in high school!. You need to spend time (at least a half hour) right before bed doing something calming!. For me, it's reading a book!.!.!.it often makes me drowsy!. Don't watch TV, work on homework, or do anything stimulating for that half hour!. Also, when you finally do turn off the light, try to think of some happy memories or future dreams you'd like to come true!. This will take your mind off of whatever is stressing you out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It always helps me to sleep on my stomach!.!.!. sleeping on my back for some reason makes me think more!. And I also try to mentally visualize instead of just having random thoughts!. For example, try and picture your last vacation or day at the beach!.!.!. I'm not sure why that helps me, maybe it gets me to dreaming faster and keeps my mind off all the things i need to get done!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

do some stress relieving activities, for example, deep breathing, concentrating on something you find relaxing, even maybe listening to music can help!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
