I have a friend who moved from California to upstate NY who I still keep in touch with!. He always emails me telling me frightening tales about how many crazy people there are in that part of the country!. He says there used to be a lot of state hospitals which, when they closed down in the seventies, released all of their patients into the cities!. He oftentimes confides in me that he thinks he's going crazy living in upstate, NY and he can't wait to save up a enough money to move back to CA!.

Yes! I was born and raised in upstate N!.Y!. and I can speak from experience!. Think about it!. Rod Sterling, Frank Zappa, and many more of us pride ourselves on our unique intelligence!. To the common layperson we may seem a bit off, but we are more than that!. We are off a whole big bunch and proud as peacocks to be unlike the other states!. All this hill country and fresh air was home to every foreigner whoever landed on the east coast!. Obviously some couldn,t take the pressure and went west!. But a few of us dwelled with our native brothers and became our own nation!. So there you have it!. As far as Tom Cruise!? He ain,t from here and never was !. So if you need mental advise just ask us!. We tell it like it is with pride!. And oh by the way!. We are looking for extras in our upcoming movie called Deliverance Two!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I find this theory about New Yorkers very disturbing, to be honest with you!. I wasn't born here (I am originally from Italy) but my kids were born here!. I don't think, anything that your friend is saying is true!. New Yorkers can be "very kind or "crazy" in a good way" but there are the same people in many big cities of the World!. I've been to London, Paris, Rome and Buenos Aires (I have even lived in those cities for quite some time) and I believe, that maybe your friend is a more "laid back person, who doesn't like to feel the pressure of a big city)!. I love New York and their people!. The only difference about other cities, and I know so, is, that "things in New York get done somehow!." Tom Cruise, trust me, is the "least" I care about!. Haven't you heard!. You go gay if you go to Cal!.!.!. or Mass these days!. I think you turn Cuban if you go to Fla, too, or maybe that's still you turn very old!. :) Family from Albany and Schtdy!. Ironically, a couple were crazy, but all the neighbors and everyone else met actually are nice!. The family is very large, so a couple crazies isn't that unusual anywhere!. Lol, I'm one of them, but I don't live on that side of the country!.
