I heard that women who had no real father figure in their life (maybe they died or weren't involed in their upbringing) those type of women look for older guys who would be a kinda of father figure, although not looking for a father figure consciously!. My father died when I was 8 and I have had bf's who were a lot older than me, 10+ older, not that I look for those type of people but just feel more able to relate to them, kinda weird to explain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Some people believe that, according to Freudian theory, and in some cases its true and others not!. Usually that happens most often in "abusive/neglectful" father/daughter relationships, where the daughter dates someone who is similiar in that respect to her father and tries to change him or just simply accepts his abuse because it is what she is used to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if she looks up to him a lot there is a great possibility
if they do not have a father then they do not have this person to look up to so they will search for other characteristics
