im trying to get my state id from florida and theyre saying that i have to have the original birth certiifacate and i dont have it bcuz it was burnt in a house fire any helpp!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah I had to order another birth cerificate, it was like 20 dollars I think!. Its easy and it can come pretty quickly!. check the vital records!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
whst they mean by an original not a copy they want one with an actual offical seal on it!. now there are 3 type of birth certificates that are handed out depending on where you live some major cities give parents a type birthcertificate id card its a mini birthcertificate then you have the short form and the long form !. the short form just states your name your parents names date place and maybe time!. the long form give your name parents name grandparents race of you parents grand parents time of birth place of birth!. there are a few ways to going about your birth certificate you have to go to the town or city you were born in !. you will either have to go to that hospital or to the town hall!. you will need to bring idiedification with you such as you ss card and probably some thing else like a non drives liceses id card!. wich if the dmv wont give you one you can get made at some local police stations, you can also request your birth certificate online3 from some places but its a little trickyer and not everyone does it its better to go in person!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
There is no way they can only take a original birth certifacate!. They should take a copy or ss card!. My birth certifacate was also burn in a house fire and I had no trouble with anything but I live in North Carolina!.
