There are many definitions!. The one I like is anger turned inward!.
I think there are degrees of depression, ranging from acute
to severe!.
When a person is severely depressed, or by polar, it is truly
a disease!. It must be pr oven with a test where the brain shows a chemical imbalance, and would be treated with
lithium(a salt) to keep the emotions even!. People think it is
a controllable state of mind!. It is a controllable as cancer!.
It should be treated!. There is a lot of prejudice from people
who don't understand this condition!. The milder ones can be treated by an antidepressant, and a good councillorWww@Answer-Health@Com
