Question: Heroin, how to help!?
Just found out my younger brother (17) is on heroin!. I have 5 kids aged 9, 11, 13, 14 and 16!. How the hell do I persuade them to stay away!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should only talk to your children who this may be relevant to, like the three eldest!. The other two peraps need a little more time and growing no matter how competent they seem!. It's unfortunate that somebody close to you is in that kind of situation!. Trying to cut him out of your lives is like cutting off a limb!. You know it belongs to you but you cut it off all the same!. From experience, i know that people caught in that situation need all the help and support a family can provide!. And as en elder sister, with a family to support and provide for, i'm sure you are or could be the parfect rolemodel for someone his age!. I had to deal with my mum being on herion for 3 years!. Being the eldestof 7, 5 of which lived under her roof, i had hide and protect them from the horrible sights it brought with it!. I confronted her and knowing that she had the support from me and other members of the family, she manages to pull through and cut it out with therapy and with help from the docter!. He is still young, he will bounce back from this crisis being a new person!. Be positive about the way things are and see how relationships grow and dwar your family ever closer!.

well ur kids are gonna be kids no matter what so give them the facts but don't flat out say to the older ones ''dont do it'' tell them the bad side affects and how proud u r of them for staying away from it

maybe you could show them before and after pics of addicts!.!.!.and tell them a lil about how it affects you when you do it, but make seem scary!.!.!.I hope this helps!.!.!.:)Www@Answer-Health@Com
