Answers:
negative thoughts are annoying and unbeliveably overpowering!.

the only advise i can give you is fight it out!. talk to yourself out loud, you have to convince your self that that thought is not going to win!. write it down, draw pictures of this thought, what it looks like in your mind, what you would like to do with this thought and what you want to be after you have got rid of your negative thought!.

when your thoughts take over you, its time to stop what your doing and devote 5 mins to half an hour, how ever long it takes to win the battle!. after a few times of controlling your negative thoughts it becomes eaiser to dismiss them in future!. they might still be there, but your less likely to give in to them!.

sometimes i feel like i am constantly battling with my thoughts, becuase they want me to fail, they want me to believe that i am useless and no one likes me, i really thought i was crazy at one point!!

once you've cracked it, you'll no, the sense of achievment and power over yourself when you are able to stand up to your own negative thougths!. we are all strong enought to do it, sometimes you just need a confidence boost, keep going!!

i cant answer if it comes from your depression or you anxiety, but i would think it is both!. keep using any techniques you learnt from therapy, some of them might seem silly or pointless, but once you understand the way your mind works and keeping yourself happy, it gets much eaiser!.

I hope i have helped you a little bit, good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I understand how you feel!. The best way I find is to keep busy!.!.!.!.physical work such as gardening is good, or starting a large project and doing something at it everyday!. Try to stay away from situations or people that trigger negative thoughts, though this is not always possible, I know!. Try to have something to look forward to, even if it is only a small thing like sitting down with a good dvd, or going for a drink with friends!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you tried turning your negative thoughts into positive thoughts!? When a negative thought starts up, try to think of something positive that could come of it instead!.
e!.g!. Negative thought: It's gonna rain today, Oh no I'm gonna get wet!
Positive thought: I can take my umbrella, and maybe have fun in the puddles! Rains not so bad!
That kind of thing or such like!.
I wish you all the best, I can appreciate it can't be easy!.

Try writing stuff down - sometimes writing down your concerns and reading them back can help to organise your thoughts or put things in context so you take a more balanced view!.
