i honestly don't know how to answer that question!. that is really tough!. I have nothing against people who have the disease, but very hard to answer!.
I can answer it both ways!.
I would because if you and this person are so called "made for each other" you can make it work!. It may be hard but you can make it work!.
but I could also say I wouldn't because you may get more pain out of the relationship that pleasure, if the bi-polar disease is not controlled!.

I haven't got anything against bipolar people at all, but I have very little experience in dealing with the disorder as it presents itself in people, so I don't think that I would be a very understanding boyfriend!.
I also think that I might make their bipolar disorder worse, because I myself am prone to rather severe bouts of depression!.!.!.!. and I don't think that I would be a good boyfriend at all when in the midst of a major depressive episode!. So imagine one person in a mania and the other severely depressed, or both severely depressed!.!.!. !.really not a great idea!.
I just think that it would be unwise!.!.!. I would feel unable to care for them to the best of my ability!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I will say HECK NO!!!!! I dated someone for 3 years that was bipolar and it was hell for me!. He went to jail 3 times for abusing me!.!.!.!.he didnt remember half of the stuff he did!. He functioned off of his medications, it was like he was a robot, and if he didnt take his medication he was a totally different person!. If someone who is bipolar doesnt take there meds they can have a manic episode and end up in the metal home like my x did!. He didnt even know who i was or anything!. Also if you have a baby with someone who is bipolar, there is a 99% chance that your baby could get it as well!. Im sure this person is a nice guy and all, but my theripist said that your going to be living the life of a rollercoaster for as long as your with that person and he was right!. So my advice is to be friends and that is ALLLLL!Www@Answer-Health@Com
i have dated a bipolar person!. He was fine until his super intelligent mother took him off his medicine!. when he was happy-manic,its just what we called it, he was so much fun! Then he got crazy-manic and yelled at me and others all the time!. He lost jobs because of that too!. When he was depressed, he layed in bed and wouldnt get up except to use the bathroom!. It was a roller coaster for both of us!.
Being so young (I was 16, He was 18) I didnt really understand manic-depression and it was really hard for both of us!. I didnt know how to help him and he wouldnt help himself!.

yeah because he might be the nicest person underneath and with medicine, he'd be fine!. plus it would be kinda interesting to figure out how he thinks!. but i wouldn't turn it into something serious, just friendly dating until he's on working meds and doing great!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
no bc a lot of bipolar ppl tend to be promiscuous and unfaithful so no and also their moods change and they tend to be self-centered unless theyre on medication!. and I dont like moody ppl!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
