How do you stop thinking?!


Question: How do you stop thinking!?
i know that sounds kind of weird!. but, imagination runs wild, and i just want it to stop!. i was able to shut myself down [in a way without killing myself] last year, and to be quite honest with you, i just want to do that again, but i don't know how to!. if you could, give me some tips on how to just!.!.!. stop thinking!?

someone tell me if this doesn't make sense!. like, if i think about something, i get way too wrapped up in it!. i know you can't physically stop thinking, but i really want to clear my mind or something!.

Get information on meditation!. It is a practical help for people like you and me!. I call our problem the absent-minded professor condition!. It takes work to learn to meditate ,and progress can be gradual,but you'll find that it will come in on" cat's feet" and you will find moments when time will pass without your being aware until you see a clock, yet you were not asleep!. You need to take one step at a time, and resolve all of the unresolved issues in your life!. Your head runs wild because you have so much on your mind to think about!. If you clear the clutter in your head (resolve the issues) then you will feel and be more free, as a person, and in your head!. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate to deal with, so, just relax, breathe, make a list of everything you want to "clear up", and why, then start on it, one by one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

With some of us this can be difficult!. I think it takes practice on focusing our mind on one thing or object!. Like a point of light, or a flame of a candle etc!. I have had a lot of trouble with this but it is getting better as of late!. Just practice for 30 seconds at a time, then 45 seconds at a time etc!. And see what happens!. start doing things more, whille youre doing things you wont be thinking

i used to be like that, but when you just think about getting **** done and think about what the consequenses are after youre done

You could try meditation!. Even while doing this you don't necessarily stop thinking but you focus on your breathe and relax!. This could be really beneficial for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try yoga!. It really helped me calm down as a person in general!. Not just while I am actively doing it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
