I have trouble falling back to sleep in the middle of the night.?!


Question: I have trouble falling back to sleep in the middle of the night!.!?
Every single night i wake up around 3 in the morning, and I stay up until 6:30, then I get ready for school!. i mean i dont like to sleep, but I want to becuase I dont like staying up for 3 hours in the middle of night!. I get scared really easily, and when I cant fall asleep I listen to my Ipod for 2 hours!. i really want to go asleep!. i need some suggestions!. Closing my eyes scares me, and i usually cover my head in the blankets!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi -- I don't know how old you are but it could be that you are going to bed too early!. Maybe you are getting too much sleep!. Could that be possible!?

When you wake up at 3:00 -- go to the bathroom, make sure your room isn't too hot and that the lighting is low!. Make sure you are as physically comfortable as possible!. Try to clear your mind!. Every time you think of something just try to "turn off the switch!." I know you're bored but maybe you shouldn't listen to your ipod!. Try to concentrate on keeping your mind calm!.

Try listening to talk radio shows!.!.!.They always tend to help me fall asleep!.

I believe the major reason that most of us have hard times falling asleep is because our mind think and worry about a lot or simply look forward to something great!. So before you go to bed, just try to relax your mind and also pray and ask God to give you a good night sleep!. HE WillWww@Answer-Health@Com

Anxiety and depression can cause sleeplessness!. This appears to be your situation!. You may need a regular type of antidepressant or just a sleeping pill like Ambien CR!. Talk with you md to figure out what is best for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
