Question: How can I help my grandpa and stop being mad !?
Im 15 years old and my grandfather has cancer had a major stroke, and is calling for help all the time and groining for pain pills all through the night how can I not get so frustrated when he is asking for help I know I'm being selfis!. But I am always having to stop what Im doing to help him!. Oh and I'm the only kid in the house!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that you are in a difficult situation!. You want to help your grandpa but at the age of 15, it is quite a bit of responsibility!. Even older people find it exhausting when their loved ones are sick or disabled!. It is very normal for you to feel frustrated and even mad when you have to jump and wait on him every time he calls, no matter what you are doing!. I don't think you are selfish by any means!. I think that sometimes, you need a break!. You need to ask for help from other family members and maybe you could work out a schedule so you woulndn't have to be responsible every night!. I know it i frustratating when someone bothers you every minute of the day!. Well when people get old, They need more help!. I know i wouldn't want to stop doing something i really love!. Then go over and comfort my grandma!.!. I mean grandfather!. Same with me my Grandmother calls every minute of the day for help!. She bothers me having to help her!. But your doing a good thing! Comfort his needs and give him care and attention give him food and everything he needs!. I really don't know what to say!.!. You really aren't being selfish it is frustrating, Just think what COULD happen when you get old!. And maybe try a stress ball to get anger out!. it always works for me! I am a 61 year old man and I am disabled!. I don't have cancer or extreme pain issues or anything but I do have breathing problems and heart problems which makes it hard to do anything physical!.
My grandchildren come by here once in awhile and when they do I often wonder if I'm not taking advantage of them!. They often help me out and it's often beyond what is necessary!. They are both good boys!. (Ages 11 and 14)
Sometimes I use them a little too much just because I enjoy their company and there is the point you might consider!. Perhaps your Grandpa doesn't need you as much as he needs you around!. I love having conversations with the boys and there is nothing better for a grandpa's heart than having the chance to teach the grandkids something!. It make us feel like a man again!.

then one morning i all of a sudden woke up and saw him in a body bag!.
