Sleeping Problems ruining my life!!!????!


Question: Sleeping Problems ruining my life!!!!?!?!?!?
I have a problem with falling asleep EVERYNITE!!!!!!.!.!.
It has gotton worse & it scares me!. I have tried doing the sleeping pill thing, I even went to a doctor & he gave me some sleeping pills that just doesnt work for me!. I don't get tired until 9 or 10 AM & sleep Until 7 or 8 PM!.!.!. I get yelled at by my roomies!. Because they think i do it on purpose!. But its like its take over me!. I have NO control over it!. My mom thinks im depressed !. I dunno!. WTF Is wrong with me!. I get so mad at my roomies that all i do is stay in my room all Nite!. I go to work & when i come home I go straight to my room & just watch tv or write or get on the computer!. This is not heathly!.!.!.But i dunno what to do!?!?!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds to me that you have nothing wrong with your sleep - the problem is your sleep pattern!. Its almost like you have created jet lag!.
There is a simple way to fix it but it's not easy - you simply have to try and sleep at night and if you find yourself not feeling tired till the morning, you cannpt allow yourself to go to sleep!. You have to start living in daylight hours like everyone else!. no matter that you didn't sleep all night, YOU HAVE TO BREAK THE PATTERN!.

idk mayb you do have depression, i had a lil of depression, and i usually go to bed at 11, and i couldnt go to sleep for 3 hours and i just layed there, and kept waking up like 4 times a nite for no reason whatsoever, that happend for like 3weeks everynite!.!.!.!.!.!.!.eventually i went bak to my normal sleeping habits after i felt less depressed cuz i took a vacationWww@Answer-Health@Com

check for viral, bacterial infections, don't do drugs, smoke weed, drink, or smoke cigs, get 8 glasses of water aday, eat 3-6 times aday, 2!.5-3 hours apart, get some exercise, a walk who knows, if you have trouble sleeping read a book, or watch a really boring tv show or movieWww@Answer-Health@Com

Check out melatonin (the Sublingal) is the best!. I know you have to lay down when you take it, take it about 10 minutes before you want to go to bed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you tried a sleep study!? Perhaps you have sleep apnea and are not getting the type of sleep you need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you get atleast 35 minutes of exersize a day,that makes your body tired so you will sleep better!. YOU also cant be stressed!. my dad has this problemWww@Answer-Health@Com

This is a simple problem to fix!. Everyone's body have something called the "body clock"!. At a preset time your body will feel tired and sleep!. You happen to sleep around in the morning is probably because you are used to staying up late at night!. When you stay up late at night for long period your body will start adjusting the clock and make you sleep later!. When this happens and want to fix it the easiest way is to force yourself to sleep at night!. It is really hard at first because your not tired!. But force your body to sleep at ngiht for several days and your body clock will adjust itslef again!. If you really can't sleep than the best thing to do is find something that you can do that will tire your body out such as excercise, or staring at the computer screen for several hours!. You did the right thing by SEEKING a doctor's care initially; now do the right thing again by FOLLOWING UP with your doctor to see what the next appropriate step might be!.

People seem to think medicine is a cook-book kind of thing, with one answer for everyone, for everything, every time!. It's not!. It's an ART based on science!. It has a starting point, a continuation point, and a finishing point!. You have not gotten past the first point with your doctor!. Call your doctor and follow up, for heaven's sake!!! Give your physician the feed back that is necessary about the first step that was taken, so s/he can help you with your problem!. Why do you think non medical people on here know better than your doctor!? There are a lot of "next steps" that your doctor can take!. They generally don't expect things to resolve every time on the first go-round, so neither should you!. Get off the computer and make a follow up appointment!.
