Question: If you put your body under too much strain will you die!?!?
i started to test myself with bad thoughts over and over again in my head, and then i started to focus my attention on putting a strained feeling on my body, like my chest or my head!. i have been doing it on and off for months, i now feel abit sick and my body feels tired, do you think i will have caused any physical damage!. i dont know why i was doing it but i thought that i had to control my bad thoughts as that was what was causing my unhappiness and then i got scared that if i always thought like that i would never be happy again so i started to make myself feel bad every day!. its been a behaviour pattern that i havent been able to get out of yet and now im scared im going to die!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi huni, my personal opinion is that you have OCD!. I have suffered it at a minor level and unfortunatley my sister has suffered terribly with it!. I used to feel the same emotions as you, you head tells you if you do not do something that something bad will happen!. This can range from what you are experiencing to other things!. My sisters was that her favourite number is 6 so she had to do everthing 6 times, even if she was struggling and unable to do these things she kept on trying 6 times!. It sounded very similar what you had described to what my sister experienced!.

You won't directly kill yourself by thinking bad stuff, but you could end up going down the route of eating disorders, self harm, that kind'a thing - and that could definitely do you harm!.

Physical stress can certainly do you in - losing weight, over exercise etc!. all puts strain on your organs (look at the author Douglas Adams - the geezer keeled over dead in the gym years before his time)!.!.!. If you want to enjoy life more and break the self-indulgent behaviour patterns, try finding some distractions!.!.!. It works wonders!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i recently read of some scientific experiments where scientists put small animals under stress and also denied them any sleep, all of the animals died within days or weeks!. so i guess you need to find a different hobby other than trying to worry yourself to death!. and if you find it difficult to stop doing this, you need to seek out a therapist!. they can and will help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Amy if you are about 13 years old then you have no need to worry!. Its just a growing up phase that makes you think like this!. Start distracting yourself every time you have any sad thoughts, think of holidays nice places and you should soon start to feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, you can die from strain!. But that's usually when you're older!. It's definitely very rare for people around the 20's!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
