Answers:
If he knows his refusal to take medications and his behaviors are harmful to you and the relationship!.!.!. it's not your fault!. If he sought help with his problem, it would help the relationship and help keep your baby safe!. You're not being unreasonable at all!.

Make sure you make it clear to him (WITHOUT being confrontational) that it is VERY important to you that he seek help with his problem!. Make it a supportive gesture!.!. say that you see what he has to go through and you want life to be easier on him!.

If he's outright refusing to try without any good reason whatsoever ("I don't want to," "they probably have side effects," etc!. are NOT good reasons), then he's being unreasonable and you shouldn't feel guilty at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you might wanna read up on the disease before you try getting into a relationship with someone who has the disease!. if you are into some major ups and downs then go for it!. you will never be able to fix things for the other person and that will be the most frustrating thing to deal with!. i was in a relationship years ago and just didn't know he was bipolar!. it was a very spontaneous relationship!. but when he was sad m he was really sad!. i didn't know how to make him feel better and that is what was an issue!. when you are in a relationship you always try and help the other person through hard times!. you can't make things better if the person is bipolar!. now if that person is managing the disease with meds and therapy and has maintained a stable lifestyle then i would say go for it!. but just be careful and pay attention to the behavior and don't let things move fast!.
good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

My 16 year old daughter has bipolar disorder and while her medication and therapy has helped a lot, she still can have some pretty dramatic symptoms at times!. She has a boyfriend whom she has had for the last 18 months!. They broke up briefly around Christmas because he was tired of the "drama" but missed her so they got back together!. He is a prince of a boy!. He supports her when she is down and is always there for her when she needs him!. As her mother, I love him like a son!. I think it does take a special person to accept a bipolar person for everything they are!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
