Really concerned about someone recently?!

Question: Really concerned about someone recently!?
These days, one of my friends is seriously going through some mental stress or so I believe!. Because of this, every moment he is alone, he starts talking to himself!. It's not normal stuff!. It's fairly loud, relative to a whisper, and it always seems to be a comeback he would say to someone, but just can't say it in real life!. I can usually make out some stuff like: "Then they'll pay!" and "I've been suffering for years" It's usually about how his life is miserable and everyone is his enemy!. I've noticed he hasn't been behaving the same either!. He's always mad and yells extremely at anyone who disagrees with him, even if he knows he is wrong!

I've tried talking to him, but he just won't open up to me!. All I get in response is "I'm fine"

What do I do!? Where should I go!? Whenever I'm in his presence, but not really talking to him, he goes off doing that!. Just seeing him in that state drives me insane, and I get really worried and upset!. Who should I turn to!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Sounds like Psychotic Depression, although it would be fool-hardly to make a diagnosis online!. He might not know he is suffering from depression!. Further, what are his moods like do they change regularly!? or is it always the same!?

Anyhow, i would reccommend you tell him to see a nutritionist/orthomolecular doctor/naturopath, the Brain Bio Centre in London has a good success rate in curing mental illness, with nutrition/supplements, and no drugs!.

It seems from the outbursts of anger you describe, his self-esteem is badly damaged, he must of went through a trying time, possible a break-up, losing friends, losing a social position, losing a loved one!.

If his depression has lingered fro years, then you should read the book 'Nutrition and Mental illness' By Dr!. Carl Pfeiffer MD PhD!. A pioneer psychiatrist who cured many mentally ill patients, yet did no clinical trials, so his work is not recognised by mainstream medicine!. Also read 'Gut and Psychology Syndrome' by Dr!. Natasha Campbell MD, Nutritionist, neurologist!.

He should also learn Emotional Freedom Technique, and exercise 30minutes per day, this has scientifically been proven to cure depression faster than antidepressants!.

Tell him also to read the religious scriptures of the religion that he follows!. If he does not follow a particular religion, then suggest reading the Holy Qur'an, this heals the soul!. Further, read also Al-Ruqyah!.http://www!.missionislam!.com/health/ruqiy!.!.!.

Tell him people are tested and tried through life, he should persevere, and he will escape this dark cloud, eventually!. Whatever you say, never say 'get over it' or belittle his condition/feelings this is the worst thing you can do, and he will see you as an enemy as well!. He longs to be 'understood', but no-one does, what you need to do is find out what triggered this 'suffering' and proactively do something about it to get him to recover, like reading the book i reccommended, and /or visiting the Brain Bio Centre!.

If you are a true friend, you will help him through this, as you are now by asking and seeking knowledge!. Keep it down, it might not be wise to tell everyone, since he seems paranoid, and might do something stupid if his family knows, and then treats him differently!.

Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know how old you are but if you are both still living at home with your parents then tell his mom and dad what is going on!. Let someone in his family know of your concerns!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
