Find out why he feels he needs to self harm and if there are any alternatives for him!. It could be his girlfriend's inluence or it could be his own reaction to events!. Don't be too judgmental as that might close him off to getting help!.

There is more information on the site below, including a couple of audio tracks that might help you and he understand a little more about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to first hold an intervention at your house with all your family and any friends that he has that disapprove of his behavior!. Then you need to check him into a clinic to handle things like this!. But if has to be one that has the people there go into a lot of therapy!. If he also worships the devil then it may be a little bit harder!. If that's the case, then you can still try sending him to a rehab like that and if things continue or worsen try sending him to one that is more religiously tied but that's all i can think of!. Good luck to you and to him!. hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Seeing a therapist is good idea, to help him sort through the issues and find alternative solutions to deal with this stress and pain!.

I read that cutting is often used by people who try to express themselves through their bodies (maybe you notice that your son tries to express himself through his clothing, hair, piercings, etc!. more than other people)!. When my sister was cutting, I suggested that she draw on herself instead, and she said that helped a little bit!. It might not work for your son, but it might!.

It also might help him to keep a journal, so he has somewhere to express his pain in words!.

The important thing is not to panic!. A lot of people go through a cutting phase, usually while teenagers, and most of them stop on their own with maturity!. It's important to let your son know that you're worried about his behaviours, but that you don't think he's crazy or bad or anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

HOLY **** 2 inches deep THATS MENTAL! talk to his g/f mother right now! she worships the devil which is wrong!. i hate to say it but shes probly an emo!. they slit their wrists and talk bout death!. i used to be one im not though!. stop him dating her then get him sum therapy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Encourage, or forbid him to stop seeing the girl, and get him some psychiatric help!. It doesn't take long for cutting to become a habit, then an addiction!. Best to nip this in the bud before it becomes worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ground his a$$ and take some control!. he is your kid! psychiatric help wouldnt hurt either!. also, hide knives and other sharp things from him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
