Hi,

Legally I don't think there could be anything said or done to stop it as the nurse is no longer working there, thus the patient is no longer their patient, hence they are just two people who know each other!.

the only problem i find is that relationships which began with a person being very vulnerable and looking up to the other person or relying on them for help, can be based on idolisation of the other person- perhaps the patient idolising them!. It's also common to find someone attractive or have feelings for them if they are caring for you etc!. The question is does the nurse have the same feelings!? If so what were the circumstances that led the patient to contact her first!?

If the feelings are mutual on both parts then I guess it would be fine, my advise would be to just take things at a slow pace!. All feelings are real but it depends what they are based on really!.

best wishes

I would suggest against it!.!.!.!.always and forever there will be that original relationship as a foundation, one of nurse and patient, the former always helping, the latter always needing help!.!.!.!.!.such a relationship will not last, no matter how intense the emotions, one or both sides will burn out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think because there was a past experience between them in a clinical setting, I don't think it would be a very good idea!.
If a psych!. patient met a psych!. nurse and there was no past clinical experience between them, I think in this situation it would be more acceptable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i don't no but if they were still nurse and patient then there would be a big problem the only thing that would worry me is if they break up badly then would you be able to trust the other not to say thing to others about you that you maybe wouldn't wont them to knowWww@Answer-Health@Com

it depends what the time is on the cuckoo clock!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

if they were both in good mental health i wouldnt see it as being 'wrong'!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
