so many people seem to be depressed these days!. and yet, there is so much joy and beauty to be taken from the world around us it's a wonder we can be unhappy!. why take your mind off the sadness!? why not accept that there is cause to be unhappy and work through it!? get rid of the unhappy element if possible!. we are all very fortunate to be alive and have this one shot at existance - to know the greatness of nature and creativity!. but yes, do things, find a new hobby, take up painting or writing!. learn to play an instrument!. buy someone a gift and make them happy, in turn making yourself feel happy!. get a job helping people less fortunate than you, because there will be many who are!. i hope this helps in anyway!.!.!.!.always HAPPY to help xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

tell your doctor or parents, they will understand
it could be due to stress, over anything such as school, exams, relationships etc!.!.!.
listen to some music when your feeling down to try and lift your spirits, or just hang out with friends
thats how i feel sometimes, but when im out with friends or doing something when im enjoying myself, i just forget about everythin else
so just think what you like to do best, and do more of that more oftenWww@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know if anyone in a medical profession would advise this, but I find that I can forget everything and escape into another world by watching movies and DVD's - I have lots of TV series on DVD and I lose myself in them!. It might not be healthy, or a long term solution, but it helps right now!. Exercise is good too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dont worry be happy, be open hearted, help others, talk to your parents or family members or friends, read books or join a gym class!. Take interest in your studies, eat well, sleep well, show good manners to others!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try finding a new hobby that keeps you busy and isn't dangerous!. Reading is always good!. It takes your mind off of any problems you might be dealing with!. Plus, it makes you smarter, and you can learn new things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

your so young to worry about everything!.!. just try to enjoy life and find things that makes you happy:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take a break from the world!. Just be yourself!. Give yourself an hour a day to take a nap or not worry about anything and do what you want to do!. Forget about the world for that one hour!. Turn off your cell phone for that one hour!. Also take one day off a week for yourself!. You deserve it!. If God rested on the 7th day, so can you!.

Also, try to figure out what you want in life!. Figure out some goals!. Once you know what you want work towards it!. Value and appreciate the effort you put into it!.

Get a journal and write your thoughts in it!. Write down anything you want!. It can be very therapeutic!.

Don't worry or worry less!. Worrying is destructive!. Just think about the situation in your mind and handle it when you face it!. Worrying consumes a lot of wasted time!. Do you ever feel like you worry over nothing!? Do you remember how much time your mind was consumed negatively!? Just try not to do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I KNOW, from experience, how difficult it is, but once you drag yourself out of bed, throw on a dressing gown, and have a little time in the morning light, preferably doing easy stretching exercises, have a shower, a cuppa, and eggs and possibly bacon, or fish (these provide a lasting energy boost: no carbohydrates for 2 hrs, or extremely little; a teaspoon of sugar is OK)!. Splash cold water on your face, to revive you, as needed!. No daytime sleeping; only 8 - 9 hrs at night!. Antidepressants work quicker than the following; 2 - 6 weeks, but you may have to adjust dosage, or types, whereas St!. John's wort is effective for most people, and doesn't develop tolerance and the few side effects are rare, and usually not severe!.

It doesn't cause sexual dysfunction, sleeping problems, or weight change, but takes 4 - 6 weeks to become effective!. A recent, independent German double blind study showed it to be as effective as Sertraline (marketed in the USA as Zoloft: a commonly prescribed antidepressant) in cases of major depression, with far fewer side effects, and those were generally better tolerated, with a lower rate of discontinuation!.

A multidimensional approach to treating depression without medication follows!. All except for no!. (7!.) are safe to use with medication, but not St!. John's wort, because of interactions, and it's sensible to check out anything else first with your doctor!.

(1!.) Take 4 Omega 3 fish oil supplements, daily: (certified free of mercury) it is best if consumed with an antioxidant, such as an orange, or grapefruit, or their FRESHLY SQUEEZED juice!. If vitamin E is added, it should be certified as being 100% from natural sources, or it may be synthetic: avoid it!.

(2!.) Work up slowly to at least 20 minutes minutes of exercise, daily, or 30 - 60 mns, 5 times weekly!. Too much exercise can cause stress, which isn't wanted when dealing with depression!.

(3!.) Occupational therapy (keeping busy allows little time for unproductive introspection, and keeps mental activity out of less desirable areas of the brain)!.

(4!.) Use daily, one of the relaxation methods in sections 2, 2!.c, 2!.i, or 11, and/or yoga, Tai Chi, and/or the EFT, in sections 2!.q, 2!.o, and section 53, at http://www!.ezy-build!.net!.nz/~shaneris whichever works best for you!.

(5!.) Initially, at least, some form of counselling, preferably either Cognitive Behavio(u)ral Therapy, or Rational Emotive Behavio(u)ral Therapy!.

(6!.) Maintain a mood chart, and daily activities schedule, as per page Z!.13, in section 2, at ezy build!.

(7!.) As options, if desired, either a known, effective herbal remedy, such as St!. John's wort, 900 mg (standardised hypericin content) 3 times daily, totalling around 2,700 mg, or supplements, such as SAMe, taken with a vitamin B complex which is certified as being 100% of natural origin, or Inositol (from vitamin and health food stores, some supermarkets, or mail order: view section 55)!.

Also, 80% of people in the Western world have low magnesium levels, and these are known to cause depression & anxiety!. Try the magnesium supplement types shown in http://www!.real-depression-help!.com/ Some of these will be available in pharmacies, or supermarkets!.

An improvement can be noticed in as little as a week, if a deficiency is the cause!. Also, iodised salt is preferable to regular salt!. This is a shortened version of the much more comprehensive post, which may be seen on page Z!.13, in section 2 of ezy build, above, but to gain full appreciation, it's really best to view the whole of section 2!.

After Z!.13, view teen depression next, then the rest of section 2, and check out section 13!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
