You have my deepest sympathy!. It's a scary place to be!.

Call your county Human Services division and ask the question!.

I'm not sure what they call it in OK!. Could be Social Services!.

You'll need documentation, a psychiatrist's and/or Dr!.'s assistance and probably more!. Sounds like you can gather the needed facts!.

You'll also need to have a lot of emotional support and courage!.

Alanon is a group of people who care about people who have addictions!. They have discovered that this has taken a toll on their own well-being and they meet to give each other support and provide suggestions on how to live with a difficult situation!. They've experienced and heard everything you could imagine!. And they're ordinary folks from all walks of life!.

Go to a couple of Alanon meetings (They're in the phone book!.) and ask around!. Someone there can give you answers!. They shy from giving personal advice but they can be of assistance in making your own decisions!.

And remember that the most important thing you need to do is to take care of yourself in this emotional process or you may get sucked into the drama and be of little use!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If he's a threat to himself (which it sounds like) or others, you can call the cops and they'll take him in if they are convinced!. You'll want a couple ppl who can give background there!. He'll be put on a 72 hour hold!. If the docs believe he still is a threat to do harm to himself, the hospital will go to court to extend the hold!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
