How old are you!? You have been placed in such an unfair situation!. Do yo belong to any type of church that might have a host family that could let you live with them until you are 18 going on the assumption that you are not of legal age!. My mom had Multiple Sclerosis and taking care of her was absolutely exhausting physically and mentally!. You are too young to have to go through this and someone should stand up for you!. I don't know that I would trust the child welfare system but if you have any family members you could turn to or grandparents that would be great!. My heart hurts for you because I know how you feel and its not fair!. No your mama did not ask to be sick but you should not be held accountable to be her caregiver etc!. Don't feel guilty because your feelings are normal!.Your dad should have a good boot in the *** for not being there for you when you need him the worst!. I wish I had an answer!.!.!.!. I'm sorry!. I will say a special prayer for you though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to make sure your mum is taking her medication!. Once that happens, your life will get much easier!. schizophrenia is a lot more common than what people think!. It affects all its victims differently!. Most develop it about the age of 15 years old!. I understand what you are going through!. Understand your mum is looking through like from a completely different set of perception!. In order for your mum to improve, she needs to take her medication!. Once sge does that, she will be like night and day and the doctors can fine tune her medicationWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, you need help, see your doctor!. Are you old enough to have your own place!. Seems to me you would be better off, is your mother taking her medicine!. Tell your doctor you feel very stressed with the whole situation!. There must be something maybe social services can do!. Could any relatives help, they may not realise how serious the situation is!. My heart goes out to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i agree with olivia!. you need to talk to someone!. since your mom is under pshchiatric care i would call her doctor and tell them how you are feeling!. they should be able to point you in the right direction!.

it does not sound as if either house is good for you!.

wow , you must be struggling! you seem really strong which is why you hsould tell a teacher or adult!. Both of your parents situations are not safe or healthy for you!! Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey there!. I'm sorry you are in such a tough situation!. You are the kid, the one who should be cared for and not the care taker!. You do have some options!. At first, this one may not seem the most appealing!. I had a friend in high school in a similar situation except her mom was seriously bipolar!. Her dad was an abusive person she refused to live with for very good reasons!. She ended up talking to a school counselor because it got to be too much!. The school counselor helped her call social services!. Social services then helped a lot!. They helped check up on her mom and to see that she kept appt's and stuck with meds - marginal improvement!. But, more important, they gave my friend a counselor who turned out to be someone she relied on a lot!. The counselor became a positive role model, a friend, and someone who could help her understand that her job wasn't to make everyone okay!. It made a huge difference in her life!. I mean a seriously huge difference!.

Another option would be to live with a friend if you have one whose family would take you in!. Not many have that, however!. Even if you do, talk to the school and get a therapist!. Yet another would be to be emancipated if you are old enough, but that one may sacrifice your education, and with it again, you should see a therapist!. I keep hitting on counseling because there is something important in childhood that you've missed!. The sooner that you get help on learning what that was, the more whole and confident you will feel about yourself for life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
