If you are on an anti-depressant can you please advise me?!

Question: If you are on an anti-depressant can you please advise me!?
I know everyone has different reactions and outcomes from different anti-depressants, but I am wondering if there is one out there that is particularly effective without too many awful side effects!? Please write your experience with the one you are on and whether you have had good response from it as far as no longer feeling depressed!.
I am on Celexa and I might want to make a change because I find I still have a tough time coping with depression!. I can't go up on the dose or it makes me too agitated!.
The psychiatrist said there might be something she can add to the Celexa to help it!. I am so tired of trying out psychiatric drugs!. Does anyone know of a drug that they take along with their anti-depressant that truly helps!?
Please, I am appealing to you to share your experiences with me in the hopes I can benefit and be more knowledgeable when I see the doctor this week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wellbutrin has been the answer for me!. Also my sister!. It all depends on you and how your body reacts to what you need!.
Good luck sweetie, there is definitely light at the end of your tunnel!. Don't give up too soon!. Work with the Dr's and give new medications time to work!. Remember that if a med!. works for you, you will know!. If it does not, well good thing that you have a Dr!. that you trust!. Try something else!. They won't per scribe anything harmful!.
Good luck!. Remember that your worth it and as long as it takes to get well will make for the beautiful life that you desire!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am on a low dose of Lexapro and it works great for me with very negligible side effects (just a little less energy sometimes)!. I was on Zoloft and hated it!. It made me feel like an emotionless zombie with no energy or sex drive!. I felt like I was living in a fog!. I was not depressed anymore, but I wasn't happy, excited, sad, scared, nothing!. I was also on Wellbutrin for a very short time and it didn't do anything for me, and I think actually made my anxiety symptoms worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm on effexor, and I think it is great!. It has helped me in so many ways!. And if I still find myself having trouble getting to sleep I have Imovane, the only side effect I have noticed with the imovane is the next day you taste metal for a while, kinda gross but whateverWww@Answer-Health@Com

I love celxra, hate effexor, hate wellbutrin!.!.!.

To take with it!.!.well that gets annoying to take a pill to fix another!.!.!.just ask if there is another option for youWww@Answer-Health@Com

Effexor was the worst drug I've ever been on, Wellbutrin wasn't much better, Zoloft made me feel like a zombie (except for the desire to eat brains) and Prozac worked okay!. I'm just taking sam-E (it's herbal) and a vitamin b complex with 100mg of Provigil (for excessive daytime sleepiness) and I feel great now!. A lot of that has to do with the fact that I spent the last three years confronting my problems and doing things that made me happy!. SSRI's are scary sometimes!. Just stay the hell away from Effexor and you'll probably be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might inquire about adderal, it is a 10mg pill of amphetamine!. Quite a good pick me up!. Some one I know was given this with wellbrutrin and effexor!. It worked good for the depression, but really caused trouble when they became bipolar and manic!.!.!.!. not the right combination for that!. It will make a droug (had to misspell the word, or it was not showing up in my reply) test come up positive if you take this one!.

Personally I don't care for wellbutrin, but it dose seam to work OK, just changes a persons personality some, sometimes a lot it seams!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
