it could be!.
if u feel the way u feel, its because u recognize the situation!.
but u have to understand that sometimes parents know how much their children suffer when a child is not ready to understand very well the concept of death!. they problably did it so u wont suffer!. you still did because they didnt tell what was going to happen to your pet!. im sure they didnt do it to hurt you, but to protect you, maybe thinking that u would grow out of it, but u didnt!. well, just look at it this way, your pet is resting and he was at some point going to rest by himself because nature is like that!. we are born, we live and then its time to go!. so, maybe it wasnt like u wanted too, but sooner or later it he had to rest in peace!. now days children are more understanding of death situations because modern parents are teaching them about it and also at school, but in my a few years back parents were more old fashion and it was not acceptable talking about death, since this was a very touchy subject, they thought it was not for kids to talk about it, only adults were allowed to talk about it!. so in that time parents would say something else, like lie to there kids about death, so they wont feel bad and worst when child grew!. they did it because they love you, not to hurt you!.
hope u feel better!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, I know how it feels to lose your best friend - who is also your pet!. It must of hurt more your parents did it without consulting you!. But, you have to remember your dog was probably suffering and it was for the best, and your parents probably didn't tell you as they might not of wanted you to try stop them!.

You will grow to move past this, it will just take time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
