Question: For mental heath issues, or just laziness my husband won't shower!. What do I do!?
I've tryed pushing, not pushing!. This has been deteriorating for 8 years now!. I am lucky if he showers once a month!. His job retired him on perm!. disability (bi-polar, social anxiety, generalized anxiety) I know he is sick, but he seemed to develop a phobia of everything that takes him away from his computer games!. For a few years he wouldn't leave the house, but now that his meds are working, he will go to the store with me, and out to see family and friends!. We are headed to a birthday party in 2 hours, I asked if he would wash up and he says no (it's been 5 weeks) and I'm looking at him all repulsively smelly, in the same permanantly smelly clothes for over a week, with his green and yellow teeth he won't brush, and I just can't stand the thought of being at his side in public!. All I can think when he is near me is he's so discusting, and he could shower if he wanted to!. My father died a few months ago and I had to ask him not to attend the funeral with meWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am very sorry to hear about your situation!. You must be an extraordinary woman to deal with your husband and his issues!. It sounds like you 've been there for him dispite all of his mental health issues and it is sad to me that now he is better (I'm assuming he is) he can't clean up so he can attend some outings that are important to you!. I hope you have a support system for yourself as we all need it sometimes!. Now, I'm not sure this will work because of his medications!.!.!.but you could try making the shower a sensual/sexual experience!.!.!.!.kiss him, tell him you would like him to wash you in the shower!.!.!.!.then you can wash him!. Perhaps be subtle about it and kiss and undress him (bless your heart, I'm sure this won't be the most pleasurable thing for you if he hasn't showered in 5 weeks!) and then lead him to the shower!. Bottom line, take the focus off getting clean and redirect it to getting intimate! You might meet your goal of getting him clean and hopefully rekindling some of the passion/attraction you once had for each other!. I hope it works out!. P!.S!. If he doesn't want to be clean there is defently a problem!. It is effecting you!. I really don't know what to tell you!. Has he talked to his doc about this!? Does he not see it as a problem!? Do you guys have sex with him all gross!? My husband won't even have sex with me until he showers!. If he doesn't respect himself at least he should respect you!. I wouldn't put up with it!. Not only is it gross but it's a health hazard, for him anyway!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Have you tried moving your pc into the shower!?
When I need to continue my gaming, I move my laptop in the shower while my wife bathes me!. When I start to really pwn n00bs, I dont like to be bothered but she will put lots of bath soap in the water so I can atleast sit in the water and soak in it!. I've WOW'd it so many times in the shower, I think im actually better when im in water, gives me the full effect you know!.
Make sure though your not running off a/c power though or you will probably loose your husband due to electric shock, Ive thought about doing it in hoping id gain special powers like the Human Hero in Warcraft, but my wife insists I shouldn't
What she also does is throws a couple of sleeping pills in my drink and I pass out and she gives me the good ol sponge bath, and I wake up squeeky clean, maybe if im lucky my sack is shaved tooWww@Answer-Health@Com

oh my gosh!. you poor thing!. no you are not being a horrible wife!. has he been diagnosed by a therapist!. if he said that he was like this as a kid and changed to get girls then this is not a mental illness issue this is just plain nastiness!. he needs to realize that he is an adult that has a wife and he needs to get away from the computer and start putting his life back together!. mental illness is just an excuse!. i had it and i shower and function for myself and my family!. he is being selfish and very unhealthy!. he needs to talk to a therapist and start getting his life in order!. hang in there and talk to him about this!. god bless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
