(Serious Answers Only) How to influence someone not to do drugs or drink?!

Don't indulge in drugs yourself! Show her how to have a great time without having to use dope!. If she sees sincere joy in your eyes and feels a friendly warmth from your soul, she will be influenced!. She will bring back memories of having a good time, all had without the use of chemical enhancers!.

Alternatively, rent some movies that depict the terrible harm which dope can inflict on the user and society!. Maybe others know of some good flicks that would have the desired effect!.

I would ask them to tell me about the worst things that happened to them while they were using!. And then ask them if they really wanted for it to happen again!. Ask them what they actually gain out of life from using drink/drugs!. Most people that use drugs are trying to escape from life!.
Assure her that you will be there for her and you guys can have loads of fun without chemicals!. And then give her ideas of what you two could do for fun without them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Seriously, there is nothing that you can do to influence someone else's behaviour!. You can see what she wants to do is wrong, but only she can decide that she isn't going to do it and it won't be until she makes that choice for herslef!. If you are too pushy with saying 'I don't want you to do this' EVEN THOUGH you are saying it from a place of love, it will push her!. Only she can decide not to go down that path, or if she is on, only her own thoughts will bring her to a point where she wants to come off it!. Have a talk with her to make your feelings known though, and be there to support her with whatever she decides, but be prepared to stand back a little because you don't want to be seen as nagging!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hate to say this, but when people are addicted to substances, the best thing you can do is leave them on their own to hit rock bottom and decide on their own to stop!. You can try by encouraging them but it rarely works!. They usually have to figure out that if they continue with their poor behavior that they are going to lose all the people and things they care about!.

EDIT: OK, so you mean prevent someone from using!. Show her the movie "Leaving Las Vegas" and she will never pick up a bottle or do drugs ever!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't preach!. Tell her all the bad that can happen!. I was the most innocent boy ever!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. but I still ended up getting a DUI , costing me tons with lawyer fees and fines, not to mention my wrecked car!. All because I thought I was mature enough and cool enough!. Mess with fire and you get burnt!. If you never mess with it you wont get burnt!.
