What causes peter pan complex?!

Hi, i think its got something to do with fixating on your childhood or what it was like to be a child, possibily because of fear of growing up, or also it could be a possible way to have coped with childhood abuse, that playing with toys and doing your other childhood activities etc was a way of coping with that and you have fixated on it as a way of getting through life, meaning you never grew up!. Could also be caused by a trauma in later life, meaning you regress to a childlike state where you feel better and can shy away from responsibilty!.!.or it could be a cry for needing to be looked after!.

I'm not sure about fixing it, it would probably mean therapy and counselling!.

Avoiding responsibilities, being told they are childish and need to grow up, would rather live in their head than the real world, wants success to just happen to them, focuses on fantasies more than reality, believes they deserve to have whatever they want, life lacks direction, never know what to do next, does dumb things frequently, inconsistent performance, lazy, slacker, does the minimum to get by, does things without thinking, does not feel they have any reason to accomplish anything, tend to ignore or put off problems, believes fun is the most important thing in life, most people think they are crazy, forgets scheduled appointments, more past than future, gets attention through negative behavior!.
All these things lean me to believe that no one has placed discipline upon you!. A treatment is to be found within!. U need to have the will power to do things for urself and ur future!. Its that simple!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
