Question: What could happend to your mind if you start talking to yourself!?
i think out loud sometimes but i don't want to do this any more i'm trying to stop!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

talking to yourself is not a problem - answering yourself is!
People who spend a lot of time alone often voice things out loud - it is kinda like a need to hear a voice even if it is just our own!.
I talk to my computer all the time! Like you just voiced thought but there is nothing wrong with it!.
Walking around the house saying things like 'Now where did I put that rotten thing' is normal - walking around the house saying " The cheese is green and hell's boiling over" might not be
If it is something that continues when there are other people around the you might have a problem!. Otherwise dont worry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Talking to yourself is not harmful!. Isolating is!. As long as you continue to interact with others you can talk to yourself all you want!. I find it helps me remember something if I say it to myself!. I tell myself new jokes before I try them out on others and sometimes the punchline gets out before I form the conscious thought and I nearly laugh myself silly and people look at me like I am crazy; which gives me an opportunity to tell it to them and then they see why I was laughing!.
The fact that the joke was just created on the spot never occurs to them; but I don't care!.

There is a big difference between talking to yourself and talking with yourself!. I talk to myself all the time but then again it's mainly things like "I"m bored" or " F@#$ I stubbed my toe"

I never talk to myself and then get responses from another personality or anything!.

If you are talking positive things it's okay!. If it is negative!. Dont do it!.

Read books which encourages you to think positive!. If you can, read the Bible!. It is called the book of wisdom!. Hang around with friends who lift you up; not tear you down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The real issue is not talking to yourself or thinking out loud!. It's when you respond to your own thoughts!. Plenty of people think out loud, don't beat yourself up!.

that is normal alot of people think out loud i used to think out loud to i found a way to over come it by writing it down then i learned that i could hold my thought in my mindWww@Answer-Health@Com

There's nowt wrong with it!. You probably spend some time on your own, so it's perfectly natural and helps to sort ideas, express thoughts or relieve frustration!. I wouldn't be without it myself!Www@Answer-Health@Com
