The big question that you need to ask yourself is "why am I so nervous!?" What are you worrying about!? For example, you don't go to lessons so you don't have to do presentations!. What is it about giving the presentations that you feel so bad about!? A lot of people are really afraid of public speaking!. Are you afraid that you are going to mess up!? Are you afraid the people in the class are going to be overcritical of you!? Why!? You need to keep on asking yourself these questions until you have something solid to work with!. You may really be afraid of people rejecting you (especially strangers)!. There is nothing wrong with that, and is very common!. Once you have something solid, you can desensitize yourself to it (such as rejection), address it head on and work to fix it (such how you react to stressful events), or get professional help (such as counseling for big life issues)!.

Are there other aspects of your life that are stressing you out!? Stress can have a snowball effect on how you handle everything!. A new job is certainly stressful!

Although it isn't healthy to be as nervous as you seem to be, it isn't all that uncommon!. It sounds like you have some fears that are pretty common (rejection, public speaking, strangers, judgement)!. Anxiety is thought to be the feelings of nervousness and panic when there is no real reason (or logic) for the person to have those feelings!.

Breathing is key to work through "public" issues!. You need to keep yourself from going over the "edge" of nervousness mentally, because once you have done so, the game is pretty much over!. Closing your eyes, breathing in for the count of 10, while picturing a calm and peaceful scene (like a beach at sunset), and breathing out for the count of 10 is a classic tool that works!.

When you start to feel yourself getting really nervous, think about the self-work that you have done about an issue!. Being able to mentally tell yourself that "you are only feeling this way because of xyz, and everything is going to be ok" also helps!. The intellectual part of your brain overrides the emotional part of your brain, which can also help!.

If you are really afraid of pubic speaking, join Toastmasters!. It is a national group that has chapters everywhere, and it helps you build pubic speaking skills!. You should be able to Google the closest one to you!.

If nothing at all really works, or if you really can't diagnose yourself as far as the root of your nerves, please don't be afraid to go to your doctor!. You may find that you need counseling, or even prescriptions!. You deserve to live a happy life without lots of nervousness, Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some have it worse than others!. I would definetly find a good psychiatrist, and explain how your feeling!. There are ways to help this!. Not normal to be like this at work, especially when you can't function at your job!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, everyone gets nervous on the job and hesitant about how to do things around the workplace!. I don't know how to address this situation other than tell you to just be yourself!. I know from experience that worrying and being nervous does affect your job performance!. I look back and wondered why would I be nervous!. Just be cool, relax and do your thing!.
