Why do you trust a Doctor or Medical person to examine you?!
Question: Why do you trust a Doctor or Medical person to examine you!?
After reading a question on here and also it has been a thought in my own head, i want to ask the question why do we feel it's ok to undress in a doctor's clinic and let them examine us!? Do you trust them!? We wouldn't undress infront of a stranger and let them do these things!. After all doctors are just people who went to university!. how do we know when males are examining female that they aren't thinking things or vice verse!?
I know its a weird question and i actually have a problem with this myself even though i have a very good relationship with my gp, i would never undress for them no matter what, it is possibily to do with past abuse and my own insecurities but i was wondering what other peoples views where!. i dont think everyone likes to get examined by a doctor or medial person!. i know i dont and wont go on less i really have to!. i gues you have to trust them who else have you got to go to!. and if your in bad enough pain you wont care that much about undressing!. doctors see peoples bodys 24/7!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Doctors are highly trained professionals that spend many many years training!. Trust me, they are not looking at your girl parts and thinking anything sexual!.
Your health is important, more important than your modesty about being undressed!. I suspect you are very young!. When you get a little older, you will probably not be as shy about it!.
PS, you NEVER undress in FRONT of a dr!. No respectable dr would ever ask you to do that!. You undress and get into a gown while your dr leaves the room!.

I have a great respect doctors, both male and female doctors!.
They always treated my with respected and I have been treated with all kinds of problems!. To me, they treated as though I was somebody special, long live Doctors and female Doctors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had to take my bra off in front of about 4 doctors in all separate occasions!.!.!. i was dreading it!.!.!.im only 15!.!.!.!.but it wasn't that bad!.!.!.the doctors were really professional!.!.!.i dont know why i thought they wouldn't be but!.!.!. im not afraid of it anymore!.!.!.however strangely im petrified of the doctors!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
hopefully they are professionals and therefore they are trustworthy usually

Well - we need to trust them!. They are doctors thats why we go to them!. Its what they train 7 long years and 2 years specialising for! To make you better - not to just get you to undress! Sometimes we need to undress!. Its the way it is!. Or we could go back to the dark ages and just not have doctors at all!

It all depends on what you are going to see the Doctor for!. I very rarely go to the Doctors, but when I did he sent me to see a specialist who wanted me to undress!. I was going to have my eyes looked at, and not the rest of my body, so I told him what to do and then the Nurse came in, so I said to her!.!."do I have to get undressed and she said certainly not " Oh well in that case will you tell this idiot that its my eyes that I want testing not my body!.I then walked out and reported it to my own Doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
